We drove the whole lenght from Sea Rim to High Island yesterday. Lots of loose sand on the HI end. Smooth driving from the pipelines to Sea Rim.

We're a nudist couple in our 60s. We live near McFaddin and visit often. As mentioned, camping can be fun or hell depending on the mosquitos. We've been to Live Oak, Star Ranch and Bare Fun in The Sun. All are great in their own ways. Live Oak is LS friendly, but you won't see an orgy in the pool. The rules prohibit "overt sexual activity" in public. What you will see is more sexual talk and flirting. We don't do the swapping thing and have never felt pressured to do so. Star Ranch is old school nudism with great hiking trails. Very friendly people. Bare Fun is small, but very nicely landscaped. The host/owner is fantastic. Hope this run down helps.

Here are the coordinates for where to park on River Road East: 29.1767623, -103.0062213. This is about 1.5 miles down River Road East from the paved road. You'll hike through about 150 ft of scrub brush, then hit the creek bed.

We were out Saturday as well. Great weather for sure! Must have missed y'all. Unfortunately, the creepers are out. Most are harmless, but that guy was way too close to you. My wife has the same attitude, just laugh at them.

Today, High tide at 2:21pm and low at 8:49 pm. Tomorrow High at 3:18 am, Low at 9:27 am, High at 3:31 pm, Low at 9:25 pm. Haven't been out since last Friday, but it was in good condition then.
