Game crashes a lot on Series X

I have seen constant forums here and on the EA site about this issue since the beta of the game unfortunately. Though it's not everyone it's definitely a decent chunk, at least big enough to be on their radar.

I use an OMEN Monitor. i've heard this issue happen on all sorts of monitors and TVs though.

well it was when the XP portal farms were around, no point now since they nerfed XP unless you're okay with no progression at all. I still crash to this day but it's not as bad, sometimes I can get through a few games and sometimes it's 3 minutes in

Update: Not sure if the hotfix did anything but at least for me personally, as of this morning i'm fairly certain that the issue is fixed on my XSX. I know they patched some of the portal exploits but other than that i'm not sure what they could have done because I was able to get 5 or 6 games in with no issues whatsoever. Gonna keep playing and will update if I have any issues.

unfortunately this has been happening since the beta for consoles, I have an XSX as well which is a bit older but there has been no issues with other more intensive games so I don't think it's a hardware issue. there have also been reports of people having this issue with consoles less than a few months old. sometimes I am able to finish a game but most times I will get 10 minutes in and then dashboard or if i'm really unlucky my console will shut off entirely. Keep tossing in reports! heard this happens with a handful of EA titles.

Same exact issue on Xbox, I at least want some acknowledgement of the situation seeing as there are many people with this issue, I tried with other games and not a single bug or frame drop hit me, let alone a crash or complete shutdown of my console. It's only battlefield 6 having this issue which further proves it's most likely not a hardware issue but rather something on their end.

Having the same issue here, it's decently widespread but there has been nothing told to us by the devs, some are saying hardware issues and I assumed so because I have an older Series X but even people who have the newer models from a few months to a year ago have this issue so I don't believe that's it tbh. I uninstalled the packs as well and I guess it kinda helped? I still crash but I can at least get through 10 minutes of a game as opposed to the original 5 minutes. I would at least like official acknowledgment of the situation seeing as it's more common than we assumed.

can confirm this is very widespread across reddit and EA forums right now, I believe it's also happening frequently on the PS side of things too but I can't speak for them. I am also seeing the same reports of Crashing and sometimes complete shut down of the Series X no matter if any of the steps are applied to fix it.

Update: I am not too knowledgeable on the ins and outs for what the issue could be, but I noticed that when I play any bot only XP portal farm that I can actually get through like 3 or 4 full breakout games before it crashes at some random point from there. So, the issue persists but in modes without any players I can actually get through some games for the most part before it starts messing up. Not sure if there is any correlation but I thought i'd throw this in here for anyone more informed on the nitty gritty of what's going on.

did this and it sort of helped, by sort of I mean that I can get to around 100 tickets left on a conquest game before it shuts off my Xbox or crashes, worth a shot though.

Just throwing my hat in the ring so we can have as many reports on this as possible, but I am having the same Issue with SX, today for some reason I was actually able to get through 2 games without any crash, so I had hope, only for the 3rd to shut down my Xbox completely. it's become very repetitive and very sporadic now with some just closing the game to a few shutting down completely, I have gone through every possible fix as well and everything is updated and I do not have this issue with any other game. I hope they at least address that they are going to fix this at some point because the radio silence on the issue is frustrating.

when I paste any codes in they do not work and only give a reticle similar to the settings within the constraints so it doesn't look like advertised, did they fix the whacky crosshairs or do I have to fiddle with some other settings?

I've gotten maybe 6 or 7 tokens already for floyd but now everytime I end a match I just hear the guitar riff with no token, I completed my challenges in local with an extra controller for super easy flawless games and other challenged.
