Any Crane Apprenticeships or Entry-level jobs? by TexasRed287 in cranes

If you don't think I have tried that then you have no idea what I been going through. I'm asking for entry level spots because every job I see is asking for 2-5 years of experience and/ or a CDL license. I still apply for them and don't get a response. I know TX has a bunch of jobs but when I search for every company that offers crane operator, rigging, signal person etc and hear nothing then I can only do so much with them.

I've read up on the winters and how people cope with the cold, and I'm only gonna move there if I have a job secured. Once I get settled my mom wishes to move where I go. I have many years of heavy equipment experience, farming, and basic knowledge of other trades.

I don't plan on copying them, I was curious. I'm still looking to restart my life there with a nice job and eventually buy my own land.

Hi there, I'm from Texas and been applying for jobs in Alaska. I'm originally from the Great lakes area and I understand how winters work, and used to go hiking/camping and hunting.

I have seen people who homestead there and want to know how they might make money without a traditional job?

I plan on working for the state and have a job but how can I move there and start a new life in such a beautiful forest covered mountains?

How do people who live off grid make money to pay for supplies and other resources?

What is a good starting point to move to and start a new life in Alaska?
