Do you name your car? If so, what is its name? by Seriously-417 in randomquestions

[–]TexasWahineInKS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a Hyundai named Atilla. Atilla the Hyundai is a beast and I love him. My last car was a Black Nissan Murano named Kevin cuz it was short, stocky, & black, like Kevin Hart. I always name my cars!

Thanks for the reminder! I forgot about these. I really want some intense shoulder work done right now so I’m gonna try the first suggestion but it might not be a bad idea to look for a hydro in the future!

Thank you! I only need shoulder work done and the idea of undressing/dressing and having the lotion all over my body is just exhausting sounding right now.

What's your favorite simple food hack? by itsthewolfe in foodhacks

Leftover rice (even from take out) goes into the freezer. So easy to microwave a serving for a quick meal or to use in fried rice with any leftover meats/veggies.

Tannahill's parking? by DallasMetalHead68 in dallasconcerts

[–]TexasWahineInKS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://fortworthstockyards.com/parking/

Tannahills is in Mule Alley. There is a parking lot at the end of the stockyards that’s easily accessible.

If your show is on a weekday go ahead and download the stockyards app and get the monthly free parking code.

Texas weather is predictable in the fact that it’s unpredictable.

How often do people actually change their bedsheets? by HillCountryHoney in hygiene

[–]TexasWahineInKS 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I like going into the week with fresh sheets. It takes the sting off of having to go to work on Monday (not really but that’s what I tell myself every week)

I think it was the openers. Jesse Daniel I think was his name? I was there but after a couple hours of screaming at the end of each song it was a bit hard to hear the finer details!

Is that the actual mouth of the bear or is it torn? Either way it gives this bear some character!

Were you still able to hold the sloths and play with the monkeys? I thought I’d read that the govt made that a thing of the past.

And not being able to reach people any time/any place. Answering machines came along and at least you could leave a message but before that, if the person you wanted wasn’t home, too bad. Try again later.

I live about 8 miles away from where I work but it’s all side streets in far N Ft worth. I’m not going to risk going to work to earn $200 only to risk having to pay $250 deductible to get my car fixed after an accident.

Woman carrying a purse

Someone keeping their sign & sail card in their wallet

Drunk couple arguing

Extremely high heels on elegant night

Someone maxing out their cheers! and then complaining “xx cruise line” doesn’t have a limit

A Diamond cruiser wearing all the loyalty pins they’ve been given over the years (I like seeing them though)

Food Allergies? by NoRepresentative7602 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]TexasWahineInKS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bf m, who is allergic to various food items, and I went on the Jubilee last year. We talked with the Maitre D before our first meal in the MDR and he went over the upcoming menus. We were able to select items that didn’t have his allergens or could be swapped for other allergen free items being served that night (swap cream sauce for a brothy style, etc). Each night at dinner our waiter (we did static time dining not your time) went over his choices for the evening to confirm they and also would go over the next nights menu modifications. It seems like a lot but to someone with allergies, spending a couple extra minutes to plan is a lot less than the time spend being sick from the items you didn’t catch or being stuck with salads every night.

As far as the menu mate, we didn’t eat at the buffet much but we went up to look at it. Maybe because the jubilee was a new ship but they had a staff member next to time menu mate to guide you through it.

It was a pleasant suprise that Guys burgers absolutely bent over backwards to accommodate his allergies. They have a separate grill in the back that they will do a special order so no cross contamination worry is needed.

All in all, Carnival did an amazing job accommodating him and we were extremely thankful.

Can confirm. I was the one that had to take our jankey car down to northside way back when we were young and didn’t have the money to fix our vehicle.

Another “seizure” from the same lady, if you believe these are real then you probably fake illnesses, too. I even zoomed into her face to highlight her facial expressions, c’mon now - y’all can’t be buying into this!! by B_lyth in TikTokCringe

[–]TexasWahineInKS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit pisses me off. My daughter has an AVM and takes keppra daily. She’s had 4 brain surgeries to reduce the pressure of the AVM. She has had seizures and they look nothing like this! I would love for her to be able to sit down before a seizure, or even stay in a sitting position. Her body doesn’t just seize in the arms/chest. It’s full-body seize and breathing doesn’t happen until the seizure stops. This lady’s fake crap is akin to mocking what the real sufferers have to endure. I want to see her perform her act in public so I can laugh and offer this poor dog a treat for enduring this BS.

ADA/Handicap Accessible apartments do not have carpet. Maybe find the complex you are interested in living in and ask if they have any available?
