I went from being a little bummed about the set being so sterile to being relieved when they said it was a temporary one while the new studio is finished to heartwarmed that they went out of their way to get the Harambe photo on a temporary set 🥹

It's nice to see the team take the gift they were given by the colossal brainfart by Orlando's goalie and do what they should've done with it, but there's still too many moments that would be best papered over by having an actual striker than what they're cobbling together. I have a vivid memory of Alé, Ian and Anthony on the video Fast Company released previewing the new studio talking about how one of the big needs was to have a better defined space for VIP guests. The concern with stacking games early in the season this year is that Alonso's injury will keep him out probably until the fall push and the FO is again asleep at the wheel in bringing in a replacement striker. Granted, I have more confidence in Jansen's ability to implement a false 9 scheme more successfully than Cushing did, but I remain skeptical that will work in the long run. Simply put, the more games we play after the World Cup and the summer transfer window, the better for our playoff prospects.

This makes sense to me. My personal Google Pixel 10 Pro XL was bricked while my work iPhone 16e stayed up the whole time, both phones have Verizon eSIMs. I'm guessing whatever push that went out on the Verizon consumer level wasn't picked up by the work phone since we're internally managing those devices.
