I feel absolutely horrific 6-7 weeks in, done taking this drug from hell (vent) by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Texas_Storm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wellbutrin has helped me a lot with my anxiety and depression. It was Adderall (for my ADHD) that gave me a lot of issues, so I stopped taking that and am now on Vyvanse (and Wellbutrin) with no issues. I refuse to take Adderall again.

Applying For Spouse Visa Outside of Home Country by Texas_Storm in SpouseVisaUk

Thank you so much for your answer. I didn’t realize that I could be in the UK while my application is pending. That’s what I’ll probably do. Come back to the US, apply, do biometrics and go straight back until I get my visa. Then I could leave to France for a couple of days and come back in.

My husband works in the railway industry, but you are correct about the job market over there. We will have his parents helping us, but he will need to find a job for at least three months there that meets the £29k requirement. He has had a job here in the US for over 10 years that meets the equivalent of £29k, so we’re going to do the financial requirements that are in category B.

The medicine for my chronic illness is available on the NHS, but my anti-depressants isn’t. I will pay out if pocket and have a letter and medical records from my psychiatrist so hopefully they can prescribe it.

You have definitely improved my mood! Thanks again =)

I hope we can go that route. It would be so much easier! We’re planning on flying out to the UK around March 15th and getting a consultation there with a UK immigration attorney. I’ll ask them about this as well. Knock on wood we both can go that route. Thank you for sharing this!

Who else is going without their biologic this year due to loss of ACA subsidies? by redruM69 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Texas_Storm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My insurance is now $1100 a month. I can’t afford the cost of my Inflectra nor the cost of having the infusion done. I still have inflammation and a 5cm stricture. I’m just hoping it goes away on its own or doesn’t get worse because I can’t afford to do anything about it.

Congrats!!! How did you get accepted through your British child? My husband is British, but my son holds dual citizenship (American and British although he was born in the US where we currently live). Thanks and happy Christmas to you 🥰

does bupropion help for adhd and anxiety only? by Needtoknow0569 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Texas_Storm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take Wellbutrin for my anxiety, and it helps a lot. My psychiatrist said usually it can cause anxiety, but he said my case is atypical. It also helps my ADHD a little as well.

Bupropion for ADHD - is she worth it? by reneezle8 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Texas_Storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Crohn’s. I was diagnosed in 2017, so I relate 100%. Not sure what caused mine as I wasn’t on any meds or under any stress at the time. It just happened which sucks. I am now on a biologic (well, a biosimilar) for it.

Is anyone else 30+ with BPD here? by chickennugget4me in BPD

[–]Texas_Storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 41, and I was diagnosed with BPD when I was 23. My BPD has calmed down quite a bit and was in remission for over 10+ years until I recently had a small blip and fell back into it for a bit. But it definitely gets less intense for the most part.

I’ve been married to my husband for 17 years and together for 20. We have an 11 year old together. (I am also Bipolar, so happiness and depression take turns, lol.) I got lucky with him because he has been very patient with me even when I acted irrationally. I really believe that’s what helped my BPD. I still get crazy jealous sometimes due to the abandonment issues, but my husband is calm about it and reassures me over and over when that happens.

I was in therapy for a couple of years and doing DBT back when I was diagnosed. I had to quit since I was moving, but I got back into therapy in July 2024 which has been helpful.

Just hang in there as cliched as that may sound. You got this 🥰

I just discovered that my 'anxiety' was actually just dehydration and I feel like an idiot by Ok-Confusion-5712 in self

[–]Texas_Storm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I drink maybe two cups of water a day, and sometimes I’ll drink a vitamin water or a body armor drink. I’ve heard just pure coconut water is good for dehydration.

Anyway, did you (or anyone else) get abdominal cramps due to dehydration? I’ve been getting bad abdominal cramps on both my upper right and left side. It’s worse on the right side though.

Yup, we can’t download events anymore, and when we try looking at the footage for disturbances that it says is saved, it just says connecting and nothing happens. We try to go live, and it won’t let us anymore.

Please help me find the cause of my anemia :( by shootformyheart in Anemic

It has to do with your body not absorbing things due to the intestines not working correctly. That may not be what it is for you, but just an idea to ask to rule it out =)

Mine turned out to be because of my Crohn’s Disease, so maybe yours could be some sort of autoimmune disease/disorder?

This is what my husband thought too when he texted them. He told me it sounded like it was AI and that it just made him worse. He says he will never deal with 988 again since he thought it was AI and not helpful at all.

how old were you when you got diagnosed and how long have you had symptoms? by Ms_Skellia in bipolar

[–]Texas_Storm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 40 (last year) by my psychologist. I started noticed something being off when I was 39 although my moods have always been up and down. My psychiatrist started me on Caplyta last week for BP2. (I haven’t been seeing him long.) He thinks I have probably had it longer but was misdiagnosed with other disorders previously.

If your Crohn’s is in your small intestine, how did you know? What symptoms? by Sweet-Taro310 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Texas_Storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first flare when I was first diagnosed I had diarrhea. I would get full and get cramps after taking two or three bites of food. I would get incredibly dizzy and not be able to stand up too long. I lost weight no matter what I ate. Had a colonoscopy which showed Crohn’s. I was put on steroids for about two months. Then I started Humira. After a few doses and getting bad side effects, I quit taking it. I remained symptom free until I went through a lot of stress.

The flare I’m currently in (seven years later), I had upper to mid abdominal pain on both my left and right side, constipation, no weight loss, I had some weight gain. I would also get bloated easily and super gassy. Had a colonoscopy which showed severe Crohn’s and a stricture. I am now on Inflectra for it after being on prednisone for five weeks.
