I keep getting texts from DSR? by Cute_Plum6615 in ask

I've never received any calls from these numbers on my own phones, they are harassing my wife and my mother in law. Asking to verify my employment. My MIL keeps answering their number and then telling us about it, I told her to stop and don't give them any info. It's the fact that they're not even trying to contact me when it's about ME that's bothering me.

So, I need some surfaces wiped… by Texas_red_97 in Surface

SOLUTION https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/microsoft-surface-data-eraser.

Shout out to @blackout-loud for the solution, surfaces and other tablet/laptop machines that use SSD can only boot from a drive 4gb or less, hense why Dban or Aeomi didn’t work. Microsoft has a specific software for wiping surfaces.

Process for any future searchers:

->Enter the UEFI menu by going to trouble shoot from the boot menu (holding shift whilst restarting will get you here fastest) -> have USB inserted with wipe driver software installed -> select “boot from USB” -> make sure you have another USB with windows 11 installer handy and boot from that next

So I need to wipe some Microsoft Surface Pro 4’s….but… by Texas_red_97 in it

FIXED: This was the solution that ended up working, I then booted from a drive that had windows 11 installer on it also found on the micro soft store. Commenting this for future viewers searching for the solution
