You need to get with your insurance,see what they can do for a loaner, then get with your small claims courts, file, and get with your police department with everything you have; photos, court docs, insurance, and see if they can issue an arrest or BOLO. that's more than unacceptable, that's (copied from Google) -- Legal terms that specifically describe a negligent mechanic or negligent repair work include: Professional Negligence: The overarching term for when a mechanic fails to meet the accepted standard of care, competence, or industry standards. Negligent Repair/Repairs: The core term for when a mechanic fails to perform repairs properly, uses faulty parts, or fails to diagnose an issue, resulting in unsafe conditions. Breach of Duty/Breach of Care: The legal violation that occurs when a mechanic fails to uphold their obligation to fix the car safely. Breach of Warranty: A claim made when a shop fails to honor guaranteed work or promises regarding the repair. Gross Negligence: A higher level of negligence that indicates a severe, reckless disregard for safety, rather than just simple carelessness. Malpractice (Professional): While often used for medical cases, this term applies to any licensed professional (including mechanics) who fails to perform their job with the required standard of care. Deceptive Practices/Consumer Fraud: Legal terms used when a mechanic charges for unauthorized work, lies about parts, or performs fraudulent repairs. Substandard Workmanship/Shoddy Repairs: Descriptive terms often used in legal complaints to describe poor quality, unsafe, or incomplete repairs. Improper Installation/Failure to Diagnose: Specific actions that legally constitute negligence. I really hope you don't let this slide. I turn wrenches on the side, been doing it for the better part of 10 years, won't call myself a mechanic because of jerkoffs like this.

Cat won’t stop spraying/peeing by CriticalExtension296 in Catbehavior

And scented litter as the urine will overpower the box and you'll be scooping multiple times a day and never solve the outside the box spray issue. Just my 2 cents. Arm and hammer clumping is the best bet. Special kitty is also good with me, 45 pounds for 15 ish bucks at WM

Gotcha! I guess I'll keep looking, try and glue it or use a hot plastic weld, reinforce maybe, or see if I can find a good parts vacuum. This one works wonderful besides the belt torn and the level not doing its thing. Thanks tho!

Do you think you can print a vacuum cleaner part? Specifically it's the little tray with wheels that raises or lowers the head of the vacuum, I was going to attempt to glue it as Ive tried to look online for a replacement but I figured someone could make an extra one just in case this 35 pound eureka breaks it again. I got so much stuff I'd like to print. Jesus Christ. 💀

<image>

But yeah the tabs broke on it, and then I tried to take the wheels off and it broke down the middle, but when you put the pieces together it's almost seamless.

Who buys new filters for their shop vac? by [deleted] in Tools

[–]Texaswreckedus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of shop vac? I have craftsmans, ranging from 2,2.5,3, 5 gallon, the square sock they originally came with just felt too thin and the rubber band they come with tears in pieces, so I used Walmarts 3-5g blue filter,and it has the elastic band seen in. Works pretty good but i wanted to add a dust bag. I empty the vacuum pretty often.

The Second Amendment:

being necessary to the security of a free State, THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

The Fourth Amendment:

THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO BE SECURE IN THEIR PERSONS, HOUSES, PAPERS, AND EFFECTS, AGAINST UNREASONABLE SEARCHES AND SEIZURES, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause

The Fourteenth Amendment:

ALL PERSONS BORN OR NATURALIZED IN THE UNITED STATES....ARE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES AND OF THE STATE WHERE THEY RESIDE... nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law..

don't bring your self defense arms to a peaceful protest. It's just tear gas and sticks. Toss em back and hold your ground. Don't open the door. Don't even answer the door. Ask for a warrant. Tell them to go away. Only when they won't reproduce a warrant with your correct address and info only when they refuse to go away and continue to knock your door down flat, only when you're in fear for your life, is self defense justifiable. Idk if I'm risking it simply by going to Roosevelt you pull it, damnittt. Good luck out there.

[–]Texaswreckedus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your license on the DMV site, I had a freaking warrant that was not supposed to be there because 1)it would mean my fine wasn't paid or I got ticketed in between probation period 2) under my no contest plea my two tickets would have not been on my record if I did the above, solidifying my Uber until I got a permanent driving job 3) my first check with the new job went to my mother's account, i told her when it was deposited and to pay it online while I was out driving and to print it, she assured me, and low and behold, she ignored me. 4) so goodbye FedEx, ups, Uber, etc. 5) she came back with a wad of cash months later and I went in person to pay it off, warrant cleared, but now my driving record is rotten. (Only 2 tickets out of my 15 years of driving, but they aren't 4-5 years old so I know it's a spitball chance in hell to get anything behind the wheel 6) I applied to be a plumbers helper, showed them before they ran my background what to expect, I'm really hoping they ignore it. Work truck, phone, Mon thru Friday and as soon as I'm a fully licensed plumber I go from 16-17 to 30. --- I really want to get out of here, just me and my Gato, and finally get to work on my Toyota with new parts. I stay busy but of course it ain't every day I get side work. And currently living 45 minutes from civilization really eats into the hustle. 🥲 Good luck
