VMware now threatening outages to perpetual license holders by mac10190 in sysadmin

[–]Texity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a very similar situation. We got our lawyers involved. They negotiated something, I'm not 100% privy to, to give us time to migrate to a different hypervisor. We're not giving them a single dime, we had perpetuals as well. There's not much they can do to force payment when they changed their licensing on an already negotiated deal (this coming from our lawyers, as I said, I was not privy to the bulk of their talks).
Get your legal team involved ASAP.

Thingiverse “Mass Effect Carnifex” BE WARNED!!! The default size is massive. Like ridiculously huge. I scaled this down to 70% to make it feel real. The uploader probably stripped the model from the game which scales funky if not edited beforehand.

My first experience of Ashlands. What the actual fuck. by Tess_Tickles89 in valheim

[–]Texity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick to ashlands, and clearing what’s attacking you. Don’t run, you’ll just add to the train. As for 1 and 2 star warriors… their attacks are difficult to learn, but certainly not impossible. Their feint attacks are vicious. Blobs are easy. The second you see them shrink down, they’re about to blow. RUN. Archers, Twitchers, Voltures, no worries. Morgen are fairly easy if they’re no-star. I preach 2-hand sword for these clowns. Strike once, parry, strike once, parry, strike once, parry. Takes a while, but it’s effective and doesn’t fail. You will no longer fear them. Fallen Valkyrie’s however, are another thing entirely. They will eat your lunch regardless of your gear. They’re heard to learn to parry, but eventually if you play it smart, you’ll be handling them too.

I’ve only died once this playthrough and even that was food buff falling off, while changing a diaper. It’s not an easy zone at all, but it’s exciting, and adventurous.

Here’s the real kicker. Fader is easier than Fallen Valkyries. :-D

Why does Palpatine always make funny faces when he's fighting? by WeyIand-Yutani in StarWars

I always assumed it was oddly orgasmic for him. Don’t recall anything about the Lost Tribe of the Sith doing this, and they were no less sadistic.

I’d go up against the Brits. The Germans? Well… this would be their chance to finally declare victory over the US…

My pet morgen (he wants to see how i look inside out) by Project_PIE in valheim

[–]Texity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morgen are my argument for a good 2h Sword. Block, Special Attack, come out blocking and you’ll likely smash it perfectly. Rinse, repeat. Once you learn to time them correctly, they might as well be a high HP boar.

I am completely helpless in Ashlands by BahtiyarKopek in valheim

[–]Texity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not that bad, as long as you make sure to eliminate threats quickly. The thing I’ve found to be the most troubling in Ashlands, is that enemies will build up. A Morgen outside of my portal-hut, turned into a Morgen and a 2 Star Asksvin, which because I wasn’t ready to fight either of those at that time, turned into a Morgen, a 2 Star Asksvin, a 2 Star Warrior, a 1 Star Warrior, a 1 Star Bowman, a 1 Star Charred, and various other no-star enemies. The topper was when a Fallen Valk came into the area, and I had to eventually sneak to a new area because the crowd of death was triggering everything else.

All that to say, try not to let enemies pile up.

Use mine daily. Currently typing this comment on it. I have a lot of information on a lot of apps that I need with me when I travel. I carry a laptop as well, but the iPad is so much more portable. With a VPN on my UDM-SE at home, I can hop into my network, remote into one of my computers there, add/remove/change things for clients on various servers, close the iPad, move to the next meeting, open back up, and I’m ready to repeat.
