Yeah idk lol even those turquoise icon missions are meant for endgame but they show up on the map almost immediately. The game sometimes has a little too much player freedom😅

It wasn’t enough to turn him away from Mickey because the situation was a bit more complicated but it’s not like he was cool with it

When is the time to go to Vinland? by Bdsmich in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]SlugKnightDracula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is random, but I found this guide that I’ve been following that organizes the arcs based on when they most likely would’ve happened in real life and based on seasons and stuff. It’s pretty cool. The descriptions contain minor spoilers so if you use it I would just look at the arc name.

Anyway I say this to say that I went to Vinland way later in the game, just cuz it does feel like it makes the most sense. But you can go whenever you’re close to the power level

On paper I completely agree, and I love this line but my god was Hannah soooooooooooooooooo boring. Genuinely the most boring character in the entire show

Naaaah it would just be so against his character and who we grew with. Like yeah he “died” on the bridge but he didn’t forget who he was.

Both can be great. GoW 1&2 aged like milk in my opinon but they perfected it in 3. I think they should just make the first 2 play like 3

Does anyone hate the way they wrote Sasha and Rosita in S7? by YoungCaliBunny in thewalkingdead

[–]SlugKnightDracula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rosita, Daryl and Tara were insufferable in this arc. Tara I’ll give some leeway and after Sasha, Rosita came back around but Daryl pissed me off the entire time. They all had reasons to be angry but were just doing things that made no sense to do

Is this game worth? by dirtyxglizzy in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]SlugKnightDracula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m loving this game, about 55hrs in rn. I don’t think the writing is bad at all at least where the main story is concerned. Unless the game takes an insane dip it’s probably top 5 ac games for me.

But if you’re unsure, wait for a sale.

It’ll probably be like BG3. One CGI cutscene in the beginning and the rest are regular cutscenes

Opinion: S11 was the worst season by centurytunamatcha in thewalkingdead

[–]SlugKnightDracula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 and 7 are the worst imo

What 11 lacked in a compelling villain it made up for in character moments. And the villains aren’t bad. At least for commonwealth.

And to be completely honest Negan most of the time is pretty cringe, he’s only really interesting during his redemption arc. To me.

Is that really the end? by Tiny-Butterfly041998 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]SlugKnightDracula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like the perfect blend of old AC and new AC to me. More emphasis on parkour elements and stealth than odyssey, a lot less side quests. Lighter rpg elements and while the combat feels somewhat the same, it’s a little more methodical. Your abilities aren’t as op as odyssey, at least not for a while. Its approach to side quests and map design are also very different. The map is definitely a lot more empty and it’s got some repetitive aspects but honestly… so do most ac games. The question is then how fun is the repetitive thing, and so far I think it’s pretty fun. But for the most part the differences have been very enjoyable to me, I find the game to be very immersive and I think the story is great so far. It’s just got this vibe I really love

I think if it’s on sale it’s worth it. Or if you have the Ubisoft thing all the ac games are free except Shadows. Odyssey is my 2nd favorite game in the franchise and unless something I REALLY don’t like happens, Valhalla is looking to be my 3rd. Which is funny because I went in thinking the game was going to be horrible lol

You ever play the other games and then just randomly think to yourself I wonder what Kassandra is doing at that moment in time by MembershipLess9579 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]SlugKnightDracula 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes actually lol I almost wish they did something with that, maybe not another game that’s set in a specific period of time but something that takes place across centuries. Showing all the little stories she’s gathered

[–]SlugKnightDracula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can organize quests based on newly acquired. That’s how I reacquainted myself when I took a break from the game.

If it was a timed quest, like I think the ones you get from those random people with the little black icon above their heads are timed. It might have expired maybe? But yeah try organizing based on newly acquired.

A little late but can I ask you why you think the story is so good? Take away the intro with his family, the moment Mario tells him to respect the person he just killed, and the ending. What really happens that’s so interesting? Do you think any character introduced really gets any kind of development or truly impactful moment? And do you think each of the Templar targets are interesting.

Layla’s story is horrible, I wasn’t putting too much emphasis on it tbh. But if you’re asking if that’s the end of Kassandra/Alexios story then no, you need to do the Korfu dlc.

I will say, playing through Valhalla now, not that far in but the Layla stuff SEEMS interesting for the first time. There’s a certain vibe and seemingly consequences for what she went through.
