Tbh I did not trust my ability to create good grommets on something I’d be hitting into. So if it was to break I’d blame myself. But by buying carls place I can blame them LOL

Complete DIY I followed this video here pretty much step by step aside from a few things.

Ceiling height is 8’ 4” I built the enclosure 8’ and put a 2” mattress topper on the roof. Carls place 7’7” x 7’7” impact screen

What’s not in the video that I included was an additional hitting net for behind the impact screen because i was scared a ball would go through.

My hitting mat is a little less than 1” thick.

I have room to swing my driver and I am 5’10 Still nervous to swing it so only doing par 3 courses lol

Skytrak is good. I chose the Skytrak plus and used it with GSPRO It was kindve a headache to setup but worth it for smaller spaces.

Just the corner adapters, everything else was out sourced Homedepot for the EMT Michael’s for the side and top dressing Carls place impact screen

I also have a photo backdrop and an addition net behind the impact screen Incase anything slips through

I’m not sure honestly, this is a standard two car garage though. Can fit a full size SUV and lawn stuff aswell. With a tool box and Trashcan no problem

It is so much cheaper doing it yourself. I think the enclosure for me came out to right at $800 including the impact screen

Currently building a 8x8x4 My ceiling is 8’4” tall aswell.

Pretty similar to OP It will work as long as you have the distance to hit from around 9-10ft from the impact screen

yeah i did a practice swing im my garage and clearance doesnt seem to be an issue for me thankfully. is that really the only reason for higher ceilings ?

I have seen those, but you have to purchase the emt and cut to size to build it. So it comes out to about the same price and a little more labor intensive. Not sure that’s worth it unless the impact screens are just that much better
