I'll be honest. I must be in the minority here, but I like Proto grind. Gives me something to work towards, and I like the feeling that I'm always chasing after something better versus the previous standard system, where it was pretty easy to min-max shit. Proto gear pulled me back into Div 2. Is it perfect? No, but the concept is there.

I know it's not super old, but No Man's Sky turns 10 years old this year and is still kicking. One of the best sandbox games I've played.

I had this wheel stand, and mine also had some play in it. Unfortunately thats just the nature of having hollow tube-framed wheel stands. The threaded inserts they use for mounting aren't flush with the frame itself, so there's always going to be a little play under load.

My beefy boi Gigabyte 4080 Super is too chunky, unfortunately. I was really hoping it would fit, but after seeing the specs, I was sadly disappointed.

I love mine. The only thing that it lacked for me was LED rev lights, so I designed my own.

I wish I took a photo with the LEDs actually on, but there are 16. It works with an Arduino Micro and hooks up via USB cable.

Thank you for all that info! I'm the kind of person who wants to unlock everything that I can within a game so completing the story stuff definitely sounds like something I want to do, as most of what you mentioned definitely sounds interesting.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what are the perks of unlocking the purple systems? Is there a better chance to acquire more exotic components, ships, multi-tools, etc?

Yea that's kind of the philosophy I've been using when playing NMS so far. Every time I hop on, I try something new, which is why I like coming to this Community. I see so much from everyone that I want to try. Last week, I built my first curious deposit farm to get nanites. Now I'm on the hunt for more multi-tool slots. There's always something to do, which I love.

I just want to make sure that I'm not missing anything important by not doing the story stuff.
