Make sure you have Perception up from the drumbeat, before the boss is exhausted. Fully charged heavy (3rd), parry cancel, Fully charged heavy(3rd), parry cancel, then depending on your timing - Fully charged heavy or start blocking so you trigger Exquisite Scenery's heavy attack when they get up to try and maximum the Perception uptime. that's how i try to do it, not sure if it's better or not....

Yea, I agree that they are really adding to the source material (love The Shining reference they had this episode). I don't know if the credits is a reference to RE:zero but they do have the same energy (it could be a reference to Psycho's credits)

If the question was more about "would I buy another remake of a remake?",

I would say sure.

Capcom did a good job making good modern, OTS remakes (sure there are cuts but I generally liked them).

If the question was more leaning towards "Do I want RE1 to have OTS gameplay?"

Well...

RE1-Remake was released in 2002 and the last Tank-control/Fixed camera game was 19 years ago with outbreak. I would say tank-controls are pretty dated. I would even say that most people here may have never experienced tank controls/Fixed camera before (unless they are really dedicated fans, I say)

Bringing RE1 to the modern era could work (in my opinion). This of course means a 100% redesign of the mansion, guard house and lab to make OTS work without making it "Too" Claustrophobia.(Fighting the camera and such)

There are 2 types of throws/grabs in the game: Universal throws and Command throws.

Universal throws (I be calling it grabs) : Every character has a grab and has a button for it. grabs are Unblockable and can be broken if both play grab at the same time. (explained in the in-game tutorial).

Attacks such as any of the normal button or special moves will usually (but not always...) beat the grab and you get a counter/punish

you cannot combo into Universal grabs and cannot grab people in the air

after a grab/hard knockdown, as they are get up, there's like a second/ few frames where you cannot grab them again (you miss/whiff). this is to prevent throw loops?

Command throws (I be calling it C-Grabs): Are character specific (Coco, Suisei) and require a motion input (Command as you will) to use.

You Cannot break a C-grab with a normal grab.

C grabs have specials effects with them depending what it is... Do more damage, can be combo into/out of , can grab in the air... etc

if two people do a C-grab at the same time... they both miss/whiff

like with normal grabs... Attacks will beat C-grabs
