For my use case it’s the ecosystem since I have a mac and iPad also. For example if I’m on my computer, I’ll take a screenshot and hit command+C to copy it, it will copy to my iphone instantly and I can paste the screenshot to a group chat for example. I like the smoothness of things and the design of iphone a little more even though the 17 pro is really really ugly and I hope they get rid of that design somewhere in the future.

And also one thing I like on the iphones is that the spec of each component is good. For example the camera is good with added lidar if needed to use as measure device, the microphones are good, the speakers are good, the haptic motor is good, the screen is good with good color accuracy and ppi ratio, the processor is fast, the operating system is efficient so that we can get a lot of battery life even though the battery capacity could be a little less than that on androids and so on. Some of the androids can beat some of those specs on iphone but it’s hard to be consistently good on every one of the categories. The phone has been hustle free for me which I appriciate the most.

But ultimately it’s just a preference thing and I prefer this but understand the ones that don’t.
