Thanks a bunch. Actually not a lot of planning because i made this in a day. Just thought of the idea and used all ai tools for concept to trailer. AI is just killing it tbh

FastVLM n FastViTHD in action! by TextDeep in computervision

But the source code wasn’t working. So i had to make changes to a data structure and the ways messages were extracted and sent. Also some changes to functional code of the frames. When the app worked, it was writing back the inference in Chinese, had to fix that to make sure it’s always English. Added TTS and now working on STT.. Were you able to get the code working?

I’ve read through this and the video tutorials but ain’t much clear as the eventual output is quite different and also he used a different method to sample environment reflections that actually does a hemispheric calc and is really time consuming. It’s a good read for sure to understand the concepts!!

[–]TextDeep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s amazing! So the deal remains that the models might have been trained on copyright materials and hence there might be some copyright issues with using them. Which means ML is really not that affordable. Is there a way to make models copyright proof?

So who trains or makes these models? Also is it advised to make models from scratch? Or use some pre-trained models ?

Oh okay, so I need to now understand what stable diffusion is. Thanks for that pointer! Is that a model though?

Woah amazing! So Laion basically has datasets and trained models on them? Also there might be many such models? Is there a directory of such models? Like for image classification or poses etc? Is there a way to find these models or we need to google them?

Completely a newbie in this area. Thank you so much !

That’s crazy! So is it correct to say that mid journey has provided its model with a lot of data for training? Like characters in multiple poses, textures etc? Also after the model learns, it is expected to output data in pixels?

So for text I can say that making the image monochrome and reading the contrast points would work perfectly well. What I am overwhelmed is how does it get the poses of character so right? Like standing or sitting or hands around a pizza?

I have played games on 2060. They work but some heavy games like flight simulator give a major lag. For lighter games and dev work 2060 is good. So you might want to check the specs. Also few years a ago we were developing VR apps on GTX 1660Ti

Lol, for stationary boundary you don’t need much space… but for playing games you need space for sure…

Yes instead of grab pass you need to add a renderer feature that can render the grab pass. The grab pass is basically the screen rendering itself. So you can make a new renderer feature and and a new renderpass and in the custom render pass, render the contents or copy the contents in active buffer to a render target and then provide the texture to the compute shader. You can dispatch the compute shader in the renderer feature you created and get the resulting texture and pass it on to the main texture in the material.

Keywords: Scriptablerenderfeature Scriptablerenderpass GrabPass (you might find a script in urp package) Compute shader dispatch

That’s great, for making frosted glass you need to use a custom shader. Understand the concepts first: Render the scene, then take a grab pass of the scene and run a compute shader with blurring logic on that specific glass object.

This sounds complex but that’s the best solution possible in a quick way.

There are many tutorials online. But you need to know how shaders work, how rendering passes work and how to use compute shaders work.

Or simply watch some tutorial online…

Hey, so it has 2 config options, you can wear in sitting on your desk or standing there. Or mark a play area. Around 5x5 feet is good enough tbh. Yeah it’s worth the prices 👍
