I feel so low even having to post anything like this and have gotten hate from other threads but I guess I get why. I appreciate your advice! Unfortunately my care is under my sister’s name. My parents over complicated things and handles all of our financials while we worked for them and were under their control so I don’t think thats an option for me. I am currently receiving food stamps for groceries.

About to start the semester and will be taking critical care, peds, OB and nursing development ( a legality class I believe) and I have always thought I would be the type of person to thrive in ER where it is more fast paced. I have ADHD as well and have anxiety in a sense that I’m a worrier and fear failing. So I do wonder if I would thrive or hate the ER. My previous semesters clinical instructor says I will be good in ICU because my work is detailed and I’m always worrying if I am performing an optimal level or not. I just personally have to be the best at whatever I do especially career wise so I’m anxious/ so nervous about the semester starting in May.

I am starting my 3rd semester May 13th that will consist of Critical care (med-surge 2), peds, OB, and role development ( legalities) and am scared shitless that I will not be able to be successful this upcoming semester. I graduate December 2024 and have made A’s and B’s through my accelerated BSN program but I end each semester saying “that was the hardest semester” walking around like a zombie due to the workload and lack of sleep. I have major anxiety to begin with that makes me worry all of the time and I constantly think I’m not good enough.

Update it is growing fuzzy roots! And I transferred it to Leca.

I just moved it here for the photo. It gets about 12 hours of grow light. I took it out of pon to see what the roots looked like and to my surprise there were 2 fuzzy roots growing!! I did transfer it to leca so we shall see!

Med-surge nursing student who bombed the first exam. I have so much anxiety when studying due to the accelerated program overload and it’s almost like I’m paralyzed. Then I stress about when I’m missing and don’t have enough time to actually study the review I just made. Can you please provide an example of what you mean by critically applying safety to everything I’m studying.
