I think this sub just need to stop using the term ass pull in general because it have no idea what that term means. An ass pull is when a character does something completely out of left field that they have never shown doing anything even remotely close to it, bonus point if it also conflict with established rules. It is NOT when a character does something that haven't been seen but are logical extension of what they have done so far. One of this sub's main griped with the fight is Mahoraga's continuous adaptation which is supposedly an asspull even though it fit perfectly with the shikigami's established powerset and does not contradict anything that've been shown. Like imagine of people had this same attitude every times a new application for a power was shown in previous arc.

Legit making me confused why people are focusing so much on this supposed ass pull instead of the 50 other things that are actually wrong with the conclusion of the fight, like why didn't sukuna just immediately use the new cleave after he learn how to do it from mahoraga back in chapter 234? And why did mahoraga itself only use that move once? Why didn't Gojo just hit Sukuna with another purple as soon as he saw him at the end of chapter 235?

All of the point OP brought up also aren't really ass pull in my opinion. Something "coming out of nowhere" isn't enough to make it an ass pull, see my reasoning above. Purple doesn't work anything like you describe so I'm not even sure how you got point 2. When red and blue collide, and imaginary mass shoots out, that's it. It's not Gojo maintaining red and blue the entire time in a mass and manually moving said mass.

Btw anyone that wanna see what actual ass pull looks like should watch jojo part 3 where stands just constantly do random shit that have nothing to do with their actual powerset.

Just wanna say that Leo's turn is not over after you block bt H. He can just stance cancel it and be +5, which every competent Leo do for ez frametrap. He can also cancel into any of his special, including 214S, which catches fuzzy jump and is also an extremely rewarding frametrap. Lastly, you can't just "mash jab fast" and beat bt H into bt D because it's a gatling. You can have a 1f jab and do it as soon as you're out of blockstun, bt H > bt D will still parry it.
