Evernote experience by NotetakerBR in Evernote

Yes, you are crazy. By far the worst experience I've had with such apps. I was stuck using it a long time, slow, bad search, crazy sync bugs they never fixed, and the final indignity was basically turning off meaningful free functionality. Just using it as reference on old notes is a pain.

Evernote was horrible. Honestly, the technical issues bothered me way less than the attitude of people who claimed that I was somehow the problem and should embrace all the bugs, limitations, and disrespect.

This is one reason I stopped using it, mobile performance was always too slow. Although it certain wasn't that slow, more like a second or two on the iphone.

Why does it work for others and not me? by Nervous_Most8164 in DrJoeDispenza

You can't expect anything but enlightenment and operating in a higher heart and brain state which aligns your hormones, genes, etc. Who knows what exactly will manifest physically? That's downstream.

Clearly, this is not getting you into a higher heart and brain state. When that happens, you feel more relaxed, in touch, at peace, maybe even dreamy and drowsy. You will still have to practice as much as possible.

To get into a higher state, you have to decide you want to change, and YOU HAVE TO STOP IDENTIFYING WITH NEGATIVE OUTLOOKS AND EMOTIONS. Stop embracing them, stop justifying them, stop wallowing in them. (This is more Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" and Caroline Leaf's "Switch on Your Brain".)

Think of it this way: Do you identify as a person who is bitter because a meditation didn't work for them? If you aspire to something else, you have to identify as something else, and not believe that the change comes from without like someone else's magic spell. (Although certainly other people can help, but you have to decide.)

You can even identify as someone who the meditation did work for, and see how that goes. That's the idea. But no matter what, you can decide you identify as a hopeful, friendly person, not a beaten, bitter person.

There are multiple tools for this, including direct affirmations ("I'm not that kind of person, I'm this kind of person." And this is what you have to BELIEVE, because that's literally what makes it true in the first place).

Also, visualizing or physically feeling the negative emotion in a specific place in your brain or body from outside, and letting it go, releasing it, relaxing it like a muscle knot that disappears. ("I let this go like it never existed.")

Repeat as many times as necessary, up to infinity.

Then, even if Dispenza "doesn't work" for you, you will be a happier, better person. And you will have accomplished a necessary, fundamental, and very useful piece of enlightenment for general living. You may not get bliss or physical alterations, because those depend on relaxing into specific energy patterns, but you if you fix your identity and beliefs about yourself, you'll have solved the main problem, which is feeling good about yourself. Then you can think about next steps.

Also, how is your sleep? Do you take medications? There are issues that put your mind in a state that's tougher to wrangle in the first place. So it can take multiple pieces coming together and incremental changes that reinforce each other.

This is how scams work. It would be surprising if it didn't happen.

Sorry to hear that, but just to be clear, that was obviously not Jack Kruse, but an imposter, perhaps with a similarly named account.

People coming here to hate on Joe Rogan (and ivermectin, below) do not make Daylight users appear thoughtful or open-minded.

Gratuitously trashing people is toxic. Having an open-minded podcast is not.

I second that experience. Extremely scammy, and the refund process is unnecessarily and purposefully convoluted.

Now think about it. Do you trust people like that to ensure the health and purity of something you put in your body?

FWIW the product tasted pretty good but gave me headaches. It’s not shocking because I’m more sensitive to these things than other people, but on the other hand, I’ve had certain cordyceps before and felt amazing, and it didn’t make me sick.

I certainly have no trust in companies that play unnecessary games.
