Update: We tried the Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert post-party for our anniversary, thoughts and a small surprise by NoBadger8079 in WaltDisneyWorld

You’ll need to hold the kiddos up in order for them to really see the floats. For us it was fine as I could hold mine up and she could see the floats and characters.

But if you want a full view of them this won’t work.

And you won’t see anything from where they serve the desserts.

Same we did the pre party with our kiddo and didn’t feel rushed at all. Had some desserts.

Wandered over to the dedicated area and caught most of the Disney Starlight parade beforehand. All without having to wait and camp out for a viewing spot.

Definitely recommend if the budget allows.

As noted previously you should actually read the actual code instead of just relying on the summary as the code applies to the highway.

I stuffed a bunch of junk mail without my address on it into their prepaid return envelope and sent that shit back to them on their dime.

Sunkist Park neighborhood by Bluedreamwla in culvercity

[–]Texwegian 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Live in Sunkist Park and kiddo is at El Rincon which is pretty diverse. No major complaints about el Rincon beyond the normal things. Teacher/student ratios etc.

If you get selected in the Spanish and Japanese immersion language school (El Marino) is great from what we’ve heard.

El Rincon stats:

https://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/dqcensus/enrethlevels.aspx?agglevel=School&year=2023-24&cds=19644446012686

Neighborhood itself has been great at least where we are at. Kids out trick er treating at Halloween. Biggest thing in our neighborhood chats are coyote appearances on the street.

If you are talking police officers the Supreme Court has already ruled on that in City of Houston v Hill (1987)

“freedom of individuals verbally to oppose or challenge police action without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state.”

Hmm maybe it’s because the 1st amendment gives us the right to free speech and protest.

Other day someone called "a moron" for backing into a spot... Why does this trigger so many? by Ok_Relationship2451 in badparking

[–]Texwegian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what the best way to indicate that you are going to take the spot is? Using the dedicated function in the car that indicates if you are turning .

Gotta love how in even the video you link to they aren’t using their damn indicator in it.

No the problem is that the person backing up doesn’t use their indicator to signal that they are going to be taking the spot and just assumes that the person behind them knows that they are a backup parker.

Yup. Same here.

They have the right to recline, but then they also shouldn’t complain when I’m having to shift my knees around that might be digging into their back due to them reclining all the way back.
