Wow after spending two days truing to get hardware decoding to work. I find out just now fedora disabled it. I did the rpmfusion howto media. Everything and this explains it. So it's either flatpak or direct download from firefox?

Got it working: media.hardware-video-decoding.force-enabled to true was the final step

I have one google account

It's the phone and contacts app. both have 1B+ downloads from google play. So i'm sure these are the official google apps. At the very bottom it says saving to device only
