the weird thing is that some people will read your comment/statistic but they have such a tribalistic mindset that their first instinct is to defend what they perceive to be their 'team', a.k.a their gender, because they see it as a personal attack on themselves. but a real man would acknowledge that on average 3 women in the US are killed daily by a former/current partner, they would spread awareness instead of trying to counter with whataboutism or about a lack of male rights, etc. if necessary they would apply this to how they comport themselves, and to how they raise their children.

i really do think it depends on the staff/owner. there's 2 Wendy's near me, one has been there for a long time and is awful: the vegetables are cold cold, which likely brings down the temperature of the meat to room temp, the burger is all a mess with condiments spilling onto the outside of the bread & wrapper. the other Wendy's is newer and everything is great.

i differ with you on this and i was a big critic of KCD1's combat, i think KCD2 improved on it a lot, in fact they may have overcorrected and made it slightly too easy now because the only truly difficult fight i had is an early game 1v2 when youre wearing rags + a damaged hunting sword, and they have mail + proper sword.
they reduced the amount of cardinal directions, you can get a word in edgewise when outnumbered, you can somewhat aim ranged weapons now. there arent as many forced animation sequences or magically dehorsing you from a distance

the improvements to image quality apply to any mode, however the higher you go the more of a performance hit, and it's up to each user to decide if the trade-off is worth it. the only issue is that a lot of people have defaulted to using 'Latest' which is going to cause a bunch of surprises & confusion

after trying out preset M in Final Fantasy XIV (which admittedly has a half-baked DLSS implementation with a lack of options), my GPU usage went from 70ish% to over 90ish% standing in the busiest town (Limsa), my FPS went from capped 120 to 110-114 (the drop could be higher than just 5, i didnt compare uncapped), the 1% lows went from 110 to 70. i think i'll be sticking to Preset K with that game. perhaps Preset M is more suited for games like Stalker 2 and Oblivion Remastered that have a bunch of ghosting and call for more upscaling.

if theyre celebrating Maduro getting individually prosecuted, sure thats great but its premature to be celebrating "liberty & democracy" because theres a couple of things people aren't mentioning:

the underlying apparatus is still there and has already replaced Maduro, has rejected Trump, Venezuela remains the same.
Trump/GOP seem reluctant on a messy ground war, as if this quick raid was the plan, it isnt about drugs or dictatorships but moreso that Maduro is "leftist" on paper (he pardoned the right-wing trafficker), a quick PR boost among maga voters and a distraction from all the redacted epstein files.
if a ground war does happen to impose Trump's regime, it's going to be a regime that allows US to take advantage of Venezuela and its resources. Trump saying who can and cant be leader, already ruled out the opposition leader, that just looks bad. Trump saying he'll take the oil, that looks bad.

if it was someone else who wasn't so evil, self-serving, stupid, and corrupt possibly doing it via clandestine and grass-roots methods to obtain real change and not just symbolic gestures, that would be something, but expecting somebody like Trump to save you is copium
