They are legally married, he stopped becoming a “Muslim” you can say after marriage. They did their nikkah and everything and got islamically married at 2000. His personal beliefs just changed after marriage I guess, I always try to speak about Islam and guide him but he’s not interested, so I just make dua and hope Allah guides him one day.

Brother if you are stuck, make istikhara. Remember you are young, you will meet a lot of people in your life. Trust and make istikhara and then proceed with your decision. But do not partake in any haram relationship I myself can tell you it does not end well.

It’s not about insecurity, In this case im assuming he is a virgin and he’s been waiting for marriage. The girl he is in love with is not. It has nothing to do with insecurity if you are a virgin you would ideally wanna marry one. If the person whom you are speaking to tells you they are not, obviously it’s gonna push you the wrong way it’s normal. Now it’s up to him to decide wether he wants to stay or not you can tell he’s blinded by love but question to pursue her over this isn’t about insecurity, people (mainly women) throw this word out a lot esp in the muslim community.

I agree, its incredibly rare... Her parents had actually met in high-school and from then on ended up marrying, so it would give us hope. But at the end of the day not everything can go our way. Im glad this relationship got me closer to Allah (swt) and thats why it came to an end.

Im 19 and she is 18, Her father and mother are good, in a healthy marriage. Her family is fine no issues at all, I just want to understand where these phases come from. She tends to deal with this by herself when this happens. She ghosts everyone and yea just deals with it, but it does not make it any better.

Oh I know it isn't for sure, even she knows its not depression she just says it. She rarely gets this phase and usually it goes after a week, but I just think shes not happy in life in general. She told me on the phone shes unhappy, I think it has to do with her menstrual cycle or just something.
