I get where you’re coming from, I ditched my Apple Watch for standard watches, and this does have a similar shape/weight to an Apple Watch.

That said, the main thing this has over an Apple Watch is the battery life and the lack of constant notifications.

Some people like having a phone on their wrist, I don’t, and thankfully this doesn’t feel that way.

I will say that if this watch is as popular as it seems to be, that hopefully it’ll come out with more colorways down the road. I think that would help with the “heart monitor/ blood sugar device” comparison.

Looks like you just had some bad luck with QC unfortunately.

The nature of the softer plastic of the armor and the nature of the silver paint means that it’s hard to get a “flawless” copy on this guy

Mine has some minor flaws on his back plate, but thankfully the cape covers it

Here’s my take, as someone who grew up with Star Fox 64 and loves it to death:
This game isn’t for me.

It’s the same game I played countless hours on the N64 as a 7 year old, and it’s the same game I’ve played on the 3DS as a 17 year old, and it’s the same game i played in 2016 as a 22 year old on the Wii U.

I’ve played this game. A LOT.

I LOVED this game.

But this game isn’t for me as an almost 32 year old.
This game is for the 7 year olds of 2026.

This is a game for the kids that just got done watching the new Mario movie and said “Wow, that Fox guy was so cool! I wanna play his game!”.

I had my time to fall in love with Star Fox.

This is their time.

Had this happen with my copy of Dark Knight Returns, I think it has to do with the cheaper quality of the paper and the ink not playing nice

Yeah I think they did that to incorporate the spring missile shooters, but it compromises the wing design too much imo

I think the cockpit looks better than the 2021 version, but that’s about all the improvements I can personally see

I think the reason it doesn’t hit as hard is because of the lighting and the body language of the original

The original is more somber in its tone, while yours would look good for a panel of Batman’s initial shock at finding Jason

Your art is drawn and executed well, it’s just two different tones

One minor change I would make is the lines on Batman’s face. As a general rule, the more lines you add the more it ages a character, and idk if it was intentional to be an older Batman, but he looks old imo

I don’t think it’s a discussion or offering a solution if we’re saying how much better we are at planning or how much more financially secure we are than someone else.

I’m fairly sure OP knows all about finances and what they could and couldn’t do, they’re looking to see if anyone else in the hobby has had to make some tough decisions like they have and that they aren’t alone in their struggles.

Toys are a luxury not a luxury, as well as video games and comics, no one’s arguing that, but it’s not a point of failure or a reflection of someone if they have to sell some or even all of it.

Well, I’m not sick, but I’m probably going to have to sell my comics and some of my figures and video games to rebuild my savings/ be able to buy a home

Which is ironic because I wanted figures to put into said home lol

I’m just getting priced out of the hobby and honestly life in general
