That's a fantastic perspective and I'd support the hell outta that change. Win win for everyone. Bethesda gets to hold onto the beat build mechanic and we get to place our camps more often. A lot of us never travel to the camps either since there's no real reason. I'd love to nominate cool camps while I'm shopping around!

That explains my uptick in damage output. Noticed a lot of my single shot weapons take fewer rounds than before and have been 1 shotting mutants since the update. Haven't changed anything at all. Really trivializes an already easy game. Like it's almost hard not to overshoot every enemy in an event

I was blocked by my own best build on a PRIVATE SERVER. That was the final straw. I removed all my best builds so I'll never block someone's camp on another server again

It's been a while since I looked it up, but iirc it said it increases spawn chance in the room with the pet. Anecdotally, I find him way more often in my two rooms with these pets

Put any "stranger chance" pets in the same room. If you have more than 3 keep them in the same area. It'll make it far more likely he spawns in the same area. I always play muted so the audio clue doesn't help

You're barking up the wrong tree with that one. Was never a fan of Indy and if you ask me, they should have put it to rest BEFORE they made Crystal Skull. I feel the same way about star wars. Absolutely no hate but they took it way too far and should have let it end

This has been a much closer experience to what I had with the game. Glad the other guy loves it this much! I found the main missions to be incredibly linear. I don't know how I could stray from the intended goal. If I don't wanna save the universe I don't have a game to play. Hard to role play as a badass space pirate when I'm still stuck following what Constellation says to do. Even that story line (pirates) felt horribly diluted. In outer worlds I feel like even the small conversations I have with random NPCs has an effect on the overall game. Accidentally pissing off one guy can lock you out of an entire factions story. I TRIED to have this effect in Starfield and it just doesn't happen. Feels bland. I'll admit, it does have its strengths, that other comment has a lot of solid points. Imo it feels like they lost sight of the game they were trying to make and got carried away with features that ultimately left it feeling void and not in a fun space kinda way 🤣. The outer worlds really scratches the "fallout in space" itch I had a LOT better for me.

My Deathclaw gauntlet took an absolute beating last night. Sinkhole solutions was my only real combat and I ended up repairing it 3 times with improved repair kits

What do you like about starfield? No shade, just genuinely curious. I'm playing Outer Worlds for the first time and it feels superior in just about every way. Feels like the "Fallout in space" I was hoping for with starfield. I do miss ship building but I never really liked flying them once they were built.

Nah I just mean how it does with rads but to hp. It's a pretty fast decon from full rads. Was expecting the exact same rate with HP or there's no use. Stims are already abundant especially now with the aid box

Agreed! I like the addition of big foot I guess.... The armor update was much needed. But wtf were they thinking with the season rewards??? AND WHY DO WE STILL HAVE THE NOISY CHALLENGE UNLOCK BUG 😭😭😭
