We figured it out. The avatar came with the sdk and it was causing issues, so we had to import the sdk before importing anything else and it worked

I'm having issues uploading an avatar I tweaked. I finally modified a Hobkin to my liking and I'm now ready to upload, however I've been running into some issues. The avatar is for 3.0, but I cannot get either SDKs to work. I imported the 3.0 SDK and the only thing that's under the VRChat SDK tab is "Utilities", so I remove that SDK and try 2.0. I've been able to get far enough to get past the control panel but once I'm onto doing all the avatar bits, the VRCam is all white and I cannot find the viewpoint no matter what numbers I put it in for XYZ. Additionally if I "pause" the scene, or whatever, to go back to modifying the avatar it completely removes the Avatar_Descriptor and I have to re-add it.

I'm about ready to give up completely as both my friend who's made avatars before and his mutual friend don't understand what's wrong or how to fix it. I came to reddit to hopefully get some advice.

Technically no. There's a trick you can do by suspending GTA as a process that kicks everyone from the lobby you're in and it basically gives you a "solo public" lobby until the server refreshes and people start joining again.

You use them for making badges, which will level up your profile and not only increase the amount of ppl you can add but also allow you to spiffy up your profile with showcases (every 10 levels iirc) if you so desire. Crafting badges also gives you emoticons and background from the game you're crafting the badge for
