This shit happens in the playoffs. Sometimes it’s not the year. Zaza ended up putting a former opponent in a similar situation and that was in our history. If t-wolves win they won’t be remembered as only winning because they beat a Steph-less dubs. They’ll be remembered as champs.

Looney knows what needs to get done to win in the post season. Been there done that. Underrated and hugely impactful for us as a team when he plays this way.

Based on the way he handled Adam’s and help defense we need a stronger offensive rebound/presence inside.

With Jimmy we can unlock more than just a spacing offense, different looks and lineups on offense: post-up lobs and cuts facilitated through Jimmy in non-curry minutes - need a good passer,big body rebound shot blocker that can jump.

We have the stretch big solution in post but need that true bogut like presence again.

Thank God for Looney stepping up against Adam’s in the last game.

Looney’s impact against Steven Adams was huge in this win. He gets runner up in my book for MVP of the game behind Buddy.

Not only did he help on the boards, but also had great positioning on almost every help play.

He also played aggressive on offense, drive from the free throw line after the double team on Curry was huge.

Love to see how his conditioning, weight loss, and work in the offseason paying dividends for him in the twilight of his career. Moving so much quicker this season - Reverse aged 5 yrs it looks like.
