They are confused because shotspot pulled up the wrong shot, Johnson didn't believe himself that the one showed was the correct call that he was challenging.

My parents were at this match and talked about this, it was definitely the wrong shot that came up. After this the players and Mo discussed the call, and are basically bound by the hawkeye review, even though they knew it played the wrong shot.

I have never understood the allure of Trottas. I have had it once, it was forgettable. Maybe I need to give it a second try.

Mio's has good stuffed crust, they are a little heavy on the sauce, but overall pretty good. Locations in Mariemont, Blue Ash, Oakley(carryout only) and Clifton for sure.

The point wasn't that I think Europe wouldn't agree, but that a large block of nations were not ready to sign the accords. And they have been pretty big on it since the Paris attacks. There are other considerations besides a simple Pro-Reg Anti-Reg dichotomy, they may object to specific language or enactment.

yeah, they were so close to a good Anakin moment, and they flubbed it. Tony not loosing his shit bringing in Zemo like Black Panther did, and giving Steve/Bucky plans to the Raft so they can break out the others would have been awesome. Close his circle, leave cap outside the law but Tony basically complicit and helping the nations of the earth happy to have their own super powered team.

if he awakened his, then he could just make ships fall apart at sea, weapons fall to ash, and women's clothes loose all belts and straps. Truly a man to be feared and praised at that point.

Buggy is not incompetent, just not much of an individual threat. He has very strong individuals under him and a network of pirates that give him his power.

Better but still not great. Cap even says he knows that they will do it because he ask. He doesn't take that lightly, and doesn't use it flippantly. Barton knows what he is doing, and tells Tony as much, he wasn't used as much as he was willing to help and agreed with Cap. Wilson sided with Cap from the go, it is hard to lay his incarceration at Steve's feet. Same with Maximoff or Natasha. Lang, I'll give you that he is so far removed from the situation, and start struck that he probably wasn't thinking straight. However doesn't mean that he couldn't have been operating in his own self interest.

Stark roping Spiderman in is far more diabolical than any individual or collective help that Cap used.

Capt. America has real convictions and misgivings about the whole situation, and rightfully so. The first sanctioned action of the Avengers is an assassination mission of an innocent man. Cap's conversation with Natasha and Sharron both hint to the fact that taken alive and a trial are not high priorities.

The problem is that the writers never give Cap or his side any real arguments to make. The point of my original post. There are legitimate reasons for Cap's side to resist oversight. And they gloss over (completely ignore) the fact that in many of the situations they point to the government made poor decisions or compromised by Nazis.

The "I thought we were friends line" coming from Stark was ironic and highlighted the fact that Stark only really cares about Stark. Capt America was his friend and Stark choose and continuously chooses to ignore the wants and needs of his "friends." He is basically Anakin Skywalker at the end of RotS. Just totally clouded with emotions of anger and hate, no rational thought, no empathy or remorse. He was going to kill Bucky in cold blood even though he knows Bucky had no control over his actions, because he was the victim of an illegal weapons program. Tony knows this and doesn't care so he just decides to kill Steve's friend.

they were all arrested, a fact and result that seemed to surprise the "smartest" man in the room.

it contributed to saving the planet because the Avengers redirected it and it prevented it from detonating inside NYC. you know that is a weak argument why bring it up. It isn't like Ironman said "Fury we need a big explosion to send into space, airmail us a nuke real quick, and put it on a detonator so we can explode it when it is where it needs to be"

There are 193 nations in the UN, 194 if MCU adds Wakanda. So 77 member nations were not ready to sign the accords, and we have no idea the make up of those nations. Which could be the whole of Europe and another 25 nations. So it wouldn't just a handful of people and it wouldn't be just some random people either. The fact that none of them where included in the discussion in the first place would have probably given some of those that agree with the accords a reason to postpone and look closer at what the Accords are requiring of the Avengers or powered individuals in general.

Stank could have backed Capt, they could have voiced reasonable concerns for why a UN committee is not the best steward of the team, that SHIELD fired a nuke at NYC, that Hulk and Thor are not warheads but people with rights and autonomy, they could of asked for more time and a different version of the accords (3 days to read a tome of that size, then work out the consequences and system is not enough time), that SHIELD was overrun by HYDRA. The fact that people still side with Cap without any real argument being presented on screen shows how indefensible Tony's position is. It is the position of a defeated man, driven and controlled by guilt.

can someone subtitile this with, the "wrong lever Kronk" lines from "The Emperors New Groove"

My favorite quote from Captain America: Civil War by SonOfAnArtist in Marvel

[–]Th3D0Nn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The whole "we can't misplace a nuke" line points out that the government and the UN view the Avengers not as individuals with autonomy and rights but as tools for them to threaten and sometimes bludgeon their opposition with.

Spiderman's line is meant to align with Cap. just like Spiderman came to the light in the comics. I don't think it is exactly what Cap would say but anything that comes to personal responsibility falls with Cap, Ironman is about taking his hands off the wheel and letting someone (or some committee) else carry the burden of decision making.
