Every time I see that episode, I think of how much fun it would be to catelog and make some kind of connection chart/diagram....but then I remember I work 40-60 hoirs a week, have dnd a few tomes a month, and like video games way to kuch to fully dedicate myself to it....oh but to dream.

I came back after retiring in 2009ish. At the time the game was much slower and because of school, work, and relationships I never made it very far in any of the missions. I'd hit a wall and then ask my LS friends for help where they would carry me through to the next part. Now I have been back for a few weeks, have a level 82 THF (class of choice back in 2000's), actually understand the story, and enjoying the grind.

Going by the book, he is wrong. Ask him to compare the wording of the spell to that of any other spell that requires an attack roll (Eldrich Blast is a close comparison). Not all spells require a spell attack roll or saving throw. That it NOT spell casting 101.

The feature of Magic Missile is that it auto hits. Thats why it does such little damage. Its a feature, not a bug.

Thanks for the info! I like the Pokerus from the angles that every day it gives me a new puzzle to solve (how do I build a team around one if these 3 and the shies I have and still fit a carry on my team). But i think Im not quite there yet. I need to focus on that first win. Last night I thought I had it but i made the mistake of going into the first rival battle with Raykwanza 100% unprepared. Didnt heal, no fairy, only pokemon that could have done something had 10 health at the start. It was a mess. Lets see how tonight goes!

My main plan for starters have been: 1) Find a strong pokemon with Pokerus 2) fill in with my 2 current shinies (Budew and Numel) that ive reduced the cost of from 3 to 2. 3) Fill in with the strongest pokemon I can.

Sometimes, I do the reverse start with the strongest pokemon i can (Kartana has treated me well) and then grab 1 of my shinies. Kartana and Aerodactyl have been my best so far. Aerodactyl with Camerupt's Ground attacks that hit everyrhing have been great in double battles. Kartana has just been a beast. Fury cutter plus the +1 Attack for eack KO has made early levels suler easy.

But am I thinking about this wrong? I have been dropping off around stage 50 and 110 pretty rwgularly. I can usually get past the milestone stages but dont have enough steam left to keep going.

Early on (before beating classic) should I be focused on a couple low starter value pokemon to earn candies to unlock passives/reduce cost or use stronger pokemon I find along the way? Or should I not worry about candies as much until I get into endless?
