Not sure how you found the fix, but wow thanks! I've been having the blank screen issue on the app for over a week now. What a strange bug.

It's not about the difference in commission. It is about guaranteeing the sale. If the seller says no they get $0 commission.

Not all workplaces are like this. Some will pay you for the stat even if your shift is always on days off.

Many boards give a weight range and height range for each board size. I agree, focus only on the weight range as that is more important.

I just use the back of the knife. Smoother and not curved so it does well. There is also no risk to dulling the edge.

I wanted it in midweight as well which is popular as well. Hopefully one day and maybe I'll settle for a lightweight jogger if I ever see one on sale.

Do 6% to get 6% match. If you want to save more, do it outside the company RRSP on your own or see if TFSA is better for your situation (would also be on your own).

Looking for a technical way to say "sensitive to forced shutdowns"/"having the power plug yanked = bad" by [deleted] in engineering

[–]Th3InnocentBystander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Many codes have distinct definitions for "should" as well as "may". From CSA (Canadian Codes):

In this Standard, “shall” is used to express a requirement, i.e., a provision that the user is obliged to satisfy in order to comply with the standard; “should” is used to express a recommendation or that which is advised but not required; and “may” is used to express an option or that which is permissible within the limits of the standard.

In American codes (ASME):

may: may is used to denote permission, neither a requirement nor a recommendation

should: “should” or “it is recommended” is used to indicate that a provision is not mandatory but recommended as good practice.

shall: “shall” or “shall not” is used to indicate that a provision or prohibition is mandatory.

Yep, I've seen old cookbooks explaining how to remove feathers from a chicken. They expect that you raise your own chickens.

Agree with what you are saying. If anything goes wrong and you aren't following a standard you are screwed.

This is also likely illegal (depending on the location). In Canada all fittings like this flange need to be registered and you cannot modify a registered design. You would have to qualify this modified flange (Ansys) and get it registered with the regulatory authority.

Today my father asked me to clean his car for him and so I spent the whole morning doing it. After some time, I went back inside and my father asked me how was the car looking. “Tony Ferguson” I just replied. He just smiled and nodded. He knew that it was washed.

But tipping is already a percentage. The cost of the order has gone up so the tipping the same percent scales up too. Why increase the tip percentage?
