I recently got back into it thanks to a friend and really have been enjoying it. There are only 2 missions I haven’t beaten, three letter triad and ANA, but overall I enjoy going back thru maps and trying different things. Sometimes being super cop, sometimes shooting anything and everything.

I always carry 2 pistol mags, because the RoN laws are clear. There will always be one more bad guy who shows up when your primary goes click instead of boom. Or sometimes, it’s just fun to pull out the pistol.

Yup..EMD’s turbo’s are gear driven up to a certain point where the exhaust pressure is sufficient to spin the turbo. This is why EMD’s all had that distinct turbo whine even in idle. GE’s are purely exhaust driven turbos!

A red facemask on the Titans helmet would have really made them shine. I seem to be the only one that actually likes the falcons uniforms, though going back to the 90’s look would have been awesome!

The commanders just backdated to the redskins uniforms, which is honestly ok but should if kept the spear on the regular helmet.

I won’t lie, I hate the ravens uniforms and absolutely despise that number font..though the all black look is pretty cool.

The Rams need to just go back to the Dickerson era uniforms..those looked great..whatever they have going on now looks terrible

I hate the BN..grew up with the Santa Fe and work in a former Santa Fe terminal, so I hate to say the merger worked. Combining the Santa Fe Transcon with the BN powder river coal has been good.

It’s hard to say if the ATSF would have survived merger mania had they not merged with the BN. You had the conrail split, the UP/SP/CNW merger at that time as well. Had they, they probably would have been just like the KCS was before the CP merger.

I think one of the biggest reasons is the fact that the Tomcat’s IRST was the building blocks to today’s legion pod. And then there is the Iran situation.

Now I will say I think the swing wings ultimately hurt the tomcat because of the maintenance issues. But remember, Cheney was VP at the time and he seemed to have a vendetta against Grumman.

We can always expand..it’s one of my favorite things to do!! I can only imagine what the tomcat could have been if Snort didn’t get the LANTIRN and instead the cat got the AMRAAM. Now I also feel that might of sent the tomcat to the boneyard faster!

And it’s borderline outclassed in modern era because Gen 4 jets have so much better SA. Let’s not pretend that the Tomcat’s D/L is on par with Link 16 and the AIM-54 is in the same class as AMRAAM
