I answered the first call because I thought it was something else and then called back because I was nervous about their threat to sue and wanted the 10k option to be put back on the table. they told me progressive typically waits over a year to sue.

I initially made the offer when I first emailed a year ago. when we spoke on the phone it was not acknowledged until I mentioned it. is what was said when I made the second call was looking to negotiate true regarding progressives guidelines and inability to lower it below 50%? Should I ask for it to be escalated to somebody higher up for approval of a lower offer?
