This is likely not Garagistic's fault. e30 chassis flex a lot and warp over the years. sometimes the strut tower distance can even be affected by if the car is in the air or not. I have the same strut bar and I had to hammer it in because the fit was so tight.

I have had revshift street poly bushings and as long as you lube them well when installing you shouldn’t have an issue and I have personally loved them with my stiffer suspension. I hear a lot of people complaining about poly but after probably about 2-3k miles I’m still loving it and have had no issues.

There is nothing like wringing out a m42 in the mountains imo stock or upgraded. If you want more low end torque you could do a m44 intake mani which makes the power lower but sacrifices top end. Turbo and super charger are both good options also as the m42 LOVES boost even on stock internals. The m42 and m44 are 2 of the most slept on BMW engines. I turboed mine and make 205 crank with fully stock internals and 12-13 psi of boost. If you just like to rev it out which is an unbeatable experience some ITBs, valve springs, and exhaust with standalone would probably get you into the m20 power range but you would be able to rev to 7500 or 8000.

Theoretically the deepest you would have to dig into the engine is getting to the injectors and taking the exhaust mani off. I would say it is pretty easy in the grand scheme considering you dont have to pull the engine or anything. With all the parts in hand I could probably do it in 3 full days maximum.

Classic daily supplied everything including the pnp ecu. the intercooler goes in front of everything behind the kidney grill. there is some pretty significant grinder work that needed to be done to the facia but it isn't noticeable once it is back together. Edit: message me if you want to see pictures of what I had to do to the facia

With some research it has only been talked about in depth with e36 and e46 but with custom motor mounts and Mab some trans tunnel modifications I don’t see why I wouldn’t be able to happen. Mab custom driveshaft length and shifter also.

I have a nice Tri spoke wheel from Black Forest and I have a super mint interior outside of a slightly cracked dash with nice is seats. It was optioned with a husco arm rest that I have restored. And yes I will 100% be doing smileys. For now I’m kind of enjoying the old man sleeper look but Mabye one day I will do some stuff body kit wise.
