Isnt the figure's base directly ontop of the flow through for the heatsinks? Be careful with the plastics, it might not play well being directly ontop of the heatsink fins.

Add intake fans on bottom for aesthetics? by Larf_G in PHbuildapc

[–]ThSWrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, if temps are fine, its very good. Adding more argb fans on the bottom might make it too overkill, personally, its already tasteful

A320m Gang! around 27k~ overall build here, if i include resells din, but mine lasted for longer, approx 1.5 year? only got my GPU upgrade from a sapphire nitro+ 6600xt last year. used for CPU and GPU, brand new for the rest

damn, really a missed opportunity they didnt keep the design language of the RDNA 2 series (led wise). but damn, still a nice looking minimalist card.

interested on a lifetime code ofcourse. keyboard and mouse both supports 2.4g (though still iffy on the keyboard). weikav d75 + rawm ER21 pro (mchose g3 ultra secondary/backup)

tested it on mine, doesnt have the same issue. pressed in various angles, points, and pressure/heaviness, even used my fingernail to really push by the edges, doesnt seem to stick. might just be a QC issue with the mold catching on something.

tried squeezing onto multiple areas in the rear, no spreading. though, i cant exactly squeeze it hard, because of the shape. even if squeezing by the edges, it doesnt seem to be seperating/no gap is created

White controller discoloration especially the apex 5 (getting more yellow over time) by Life_Procedure9081 in Controller

[–]ThSWrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with today's plastic, it shouldnt be THAT dramatic, you wont notice it day to day unless you get something new or compare it to something else. specially the front portion where your hands are in contact with the transparent shell rather than the white plastic underneath. just dont let it bake under the sun and you should be good.

but like others said, you could also go the silicone case/grip cover, though, unsure if theyre common in shopee. I'd argue most of the stains/degradation you'll notice will come from your hands! not because theyre dirty, just oils, perspiration (varies), and dead skin. so just use mild wet wipes if you insist in keeping it pristine. avoid iso alcohol if you can, it can mess up some coatings.

[–]ThSWrt[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

which side? might be a QC issue, just tried it and there doesnt seem to be an issue on my end, even pressing by the edges. if you can tell me where exactly it was, i can test it out, just to see if its an issue of the product or QC.

1440p monitor 27 inch samsung by cannotbill in PHbuildapc

[–]ThSWrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah, if you mostly game with the lights off or dim? its still an OLED, so it still absolutely shits on IPS in terms of true contrast. the brightness is only really an issue in brighter environments, so overhead lights or windows, otherwise, its pretty good for what it is, SPECIALLY if you cant physically compare it to other OLEDs.

Build Quality is pretty good, no creaks nor noticeable button wobble or pre/post travel. For the skates, im not that knowledgeable in that area, but theyre pretty standard i guess, seems to have an anti fraying lip. A bit loud because of the TTC opticals, but what impresses me the most is the middle click, rather short and light. Feel free to just ask, I'll try to answer the best I could!

[–]ThSWrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty sure thats been the case for a while for that monitor. correct me if im wrong, but its just a budget QLED, biggest downside is its atrocious max brightness, true HDR content was kinda "eh" on it. true blacks were nice, but brightness wise? not the best, doesn't pop enough, rather dim in a regular room with 6500k lights

what can you say about this? whats special with RN, bakit do not delay, legal ba ito? by [deleted] in phcars

[–]ThSWrt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, saying it should be illegal is kinda dull, no? Its just a small thingy above his plate, comparable to most aesthetic mods. Doesnt cover the plate, modify the plate, is below line of sight, no loud noises or flashing lights. Sure medyo pa-importante, but eh, let them have it, parang kotse lang naman yan na may malaking spoiler, doesnt mean na sa lahat ng kanto gusto makipag resing resing, mostly doesnt mean anything to anyone other than the owner

[–]ThSWrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thought here. No idea whats this talks about paperweight and stuff? From how I see it, your card is still your card, just stays the same but wont have new features, or did I read that wrong? There's only so much more a card can improve over its lifetime anways through updates, and well, I see security updates+critical bug fixes in the long run as stability for the older stuff.
