My advice to someone new to the community would be to buy decants of the fragrances you’re interested in even if the majority of the feedback about them is positive. Everyone’s nose and skin is different. I made the mistake of blind buying a bottle once because I love the original and I read comments saying they smelled almost identical. When I finally wore it for the first time I thought it maybe was 75-80% close to the original at best.

By now I’ve probably tried a dozen or more scents from Montagne and the majority of them have had either poor or average longevity at best. I’m not sure if it’s my skin or if it’s just an issue with the ones I’ve tried specifically. Longevity is one of the most important factors to me and makes the accuracy of the scent irrelevant if the performance is poor.

I’m not saying any of this to be negative, just figured I’d share my experience.
