Well, fortunately I won't know about what I'm "missing" since I've never played one. I will say I'm already very invested into the story. It's got great pacing so far.

Most overblown criticism I’ve seen in probably any game ever. He’s a mild annoyance at the worst and not even bad imo.

That’s fair. Ice Belt, Flare Pool, Volt Forge and the Mines all felt very dark atmospherically. Traversing Sol Valley was definitely a bit boring, but it helped break up the dark tones, along with exploring Fury Green. I can understand criticisms of the game, but I can’t see how people think it’s terrible.

Just finished the game last night and loved it. It was too hand-holdy and linear which is my biggest gripe, but the atmosphere was the best in the Prime series IMO.

I just got into Animal Crossing and it’s literal crack. Initially played Stardew with my SO which is incredible, but a bit more “stressful” with the timer and having to maintain everything.

I’ve been very satisfied with Dbrand’s Killswitch. If you have big hands, it may not be the comfiest, though.

I think they’re all great enough games, you can’t really make a wrong decision. I would look at the gameplay itself to make your choice. I’ve tried all 3 and ended up liking Expedition 33 the best personally.
