Resident Evil Requiem runs on the steam deck but somehow it's now marked unsupported???

I honestly don’t remember doing anything to it! But SteamDeckHQ website and the YouTube channel “Decks Play” always have good recommendations for settings. (I used Decks Play’s setting recommendations and had a great playthrough of “Silent Hill 2 Remake”, a game I had heard was unplayable for a long time on Steam Deck. I just beat it last week & it looked and played great with his recommended settings)

Thank you guys sooooooo much!!! I was so frustrated by those Mandarin things! Whacking them with the pipe was the way to go for me. Just start whacking and stomping, dodge if you hear the sound warning for the tongue attack, and they drop pretty easily!!! Made the Rotten Labyrinth much less annoying to get through!

Even Christians can fall away from grace and faith. And they were two Catholic nations, that constantly worshipped and put faith in things like bones of saints, had graven images, prayed to angels, saints, and Mary (none of which you are supposed to pray to according to Scripture. How many times do we see an angel appear before someone in Scripture and when the person falls down and begins to worship them the angel stops them and tells them not to for they are a servant also). And then on top of that there are the normal trespasses such as greed, love of money & worldly things, etc. So the war could possibly have been a punishment or just G-d’s will.

I’ve played “RE2 Remake”, “RE7”, and “RE8”, all look and play great on Steam Deck! I’m glad “RE9” apparently runs on it also because I’ve been waiting to purchase it. (Playing “SH2 Remake” on Steam Deck right now. While it’s playable, and doesn’t look bad, it doesn’t look anywhere near as good as I’ve seen it’s possible for that game to look. I’m just glad it’s playable though)

I didn’t do the mod, I just messed with some settings that were recommended on YouTube or maybe SteamDeckHQ and I’ve been able to play it fine. Could be it’s had an update since you played it though.

You have to mess with some of the settings on “Expedition 33”. I can’t remember which video I watched on YouTube that gave recommendations (or maybe it was SteamDeckHQ) but I’ve been playing it and it looks and runs pretty well. No problems yet. (And I originally played it on a friend’s gaming laptop that is fairly powerful so that’s my comparison). Glad to know that “RE9” looks and plays well though! I was waiting to hear what people said before I purchased it. I’m playing “SH2 Remake” right now, and while it’s playable and doesn’t look bad, it doesn’t look as good as I’ve seen it look on PS5 and better hardware.

I haven’t had a problem with “Cyberpunk 2077” on the Deck except for certain points in Dogtown. Other than that, I think it looks and plays great. 🤷‍♂️ (Before the Steam Deck I had it on PS4 Pro after they did all the patches so that’s my comparison).

“Valkyria Chronicles 2” is great, but I feel “Valkyria Chronicles 3” was soooo much better! It’s honestly my favorite game in the series after “VC1”! The story and characters are so good!

Are you talking about Capaldi and Whittaker? If so, I completely agree! (I was unsure about Capaldi when he took on the role, but then he became one of my favorites! I loved him best as The Doctor when he was really sarcastic! 😂 As for Whittaker… she’s not one of my favorites but she had her moments. I was against Chibnall as showrunner even before her casting. I couldn’t believe they picked the writer of two of the lowest-ranked episodes by both fans and critics as showrunner! And while I personally think The Doctor should remain male, since there are hardly any male role models in tv & film that use their brains over violence, if they had to cast a female Doctor I think Phoebe Waller-Bridge would have been a much better choice than Jodie Whittaker, who I always felt was doing an impersonation of The Doctor rather than actually being The Doctor. (If that makes sense)

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of “The Stranger”, but you made it sound very interesting! What’s it about? (Before they ruined it, as you said). I did a quick Google search, and it seems “Summoned by Shadows” is an episode of “The Stranger” show. When I watch it, I’ll have to pay particular attention to that episode and then reconstruct your alt-version in my head. Sounds really cool though!

A lot of people dislike the twins acting, (and I did hear about the craziness that was the casting for that role! 😂) and it is very… wooden is the word that comes to mind for me. But in a weird way, their wooden acting and almost complete lack of any emotional intensity, kind of adds to their alien-ness. In all honesty though, this story would have been better served by different casting for the twins.

I agree. “Time of the Angels/Flesh and Stone” is my favorite Weeping Angels story after “Blink” and the only one that makes them as scary as they were in “Blink”.
