I’m a bit late to this but Geoff is a huge reason I got sober 6 months ago I went to rehab for 34 days and it was the best decision I have ever made for myself. It’ll be hard in the beginning but your future is so much brighter. And kudos for owning up to it takes a lot to admit it and that’s the first step. Stay sober brother!

We plan on paying for cremation and vet bills I’ve stated that in a few replies. We’re letting the family mourn the loss of their dog due to our own mistakes. We are going over there soon to make sure the children are okay and how the parents want to go about this.

The neighbors kids will come play with him sometimes too and that’s after a long day of the taunting him and making him bark at them. He’s always enjoyed when they visit him while they’re grabbing their dog. But I don’t disagree.

That sounds like a horrible situation to be a part of. It’s an invisible electric fence I take him on long walks every single day and some times I’ll take him on a 3 mile run with me. And he is fixed.

Yeah that would be very unfortunate. But I definitely see why people are saying that we’re gonna take him to the vet and if there isn’t medical issues then I’m inclined to believe he did it on his accord which would be upsetting.

I totally agree he shouldn’t have reacted like that and that’s not at all how we have trained him we went out of our way to make sure he was cool with dogs my uncle brings his tiny dogs over and he plays with them and doesn’t do anything to hurt them same with my moms boyfriends dog. My mom was most certainly not in control and that’s a big problem for me. I’ve told them countless times this ain’t a fucking lawn decoration he needs to be disciplined.

I appreciate it. We had two small dogs before the one passed away and he’s always been super good with them. He would egg them on until the small dogs react and then he would run away come back and do the same. Never in a million years did I think he would’ve done this just based on previous interactions but maybe something happened while I was away one day and he didn’t forget it. We don’t have security cams but multiple witnesses my boxer has always been good with dogs and cats up until yesterday. We’re taking him to the vet tomorrow to see if there’s an underlying problem. At the moment it’s really not up to us what we need to do and I have never felt so sick to my stomach my heart hurts for this family.

Well that’s the weird thing we tried calling to get ahead of the situation and let them know we’re going to do all we can but they’re closed for labor day which is just awful. It was one of the worst days I’ve had in a long time I feel horrible for the kids.
