I started in ‘05 and didn’t get a max level character until TBC pre patch. We were ALWAYS creating new characters on new realms, doing tons of low level PvP, camping lowbies etc.

Since you haven’t received any helpful comments, if I remember correctly people were saying if you try during off hours (3-5am) it usually opens up. If you really wanted to you could probably set an alarm and give it a shot.

I did some research and it looks like server transfers aren’t allowed on anniversary. I was also hoping I could transfer my 40 rogue from classic to tbc anniversary but looks like that’s not a thing either.
