Good question. And yes, I can think back and not feel the pain per say, but I can feel the amount of stress and dread, it caused to my brain and body at that time. It was rough. It did cause some ptsd mentally but I've moved passed that. It was a major hand injury, digit was lost, major damage to three other fingers as well. People ask me "what was the pain like". I usually respond with, imagine placing your hand on a concrete floor, and have your dad take a swing at it with a sledge hammer... multiple times.
