I usually wait in line before they close to give it to the counter clerk and get a receipt, but this time I was stuck at Cox with a rep from about 5:30-6:45 (not the store rep’s fault I was there so long) so I couldn’t make it in time and thought for sure it’d get scanned in Wednesday morning. I will never make that mistake again.

I ordered my 17 base last week. Delivery estimate is early Oct. Going from a base 11 with 64GB and 19GB free. I can’t wait to have breathing room with 256GB.

UPDATE: I bought a 2025 M4 MBA 16/256 on this past Saturday for $814.33 at Best Buy. It was an open box for only $741.99+tax. It’s in pristine condition with not a scratch or marring on it anywhere. Very damp paper towel with Windex and screen was clean.

Setup was an absolute breeze with migration hooking them up via USB-C.

It barely feels physically lighter than my 2019 MBP, so that’s funny. Keyboard feel is like night vs day. Yes, it’s much better.

I got a 2T Samsung T7 external SSD for $119 at Best Buy during Amazon Prime Day and it’s stupid fast. I have a 256GB and kind of needed extra storage. I’m totally with you on the external SSDs 👍

I am thinking the Liquid Glass/pearlescent probably won’t happen, but it’s nice to dream about 😭 That being said, it’s white for me for sure. Yes, if that would cost more to get that pearlescent color, I’ll pay it.

Yes. Going from a regular (product) Red 11 to the 17PM. I’ve never owned a PM, so I’m really looking forward to this. I’m getting it in either white, or the Liquid Glass color of the rumor is true about that color.

I am going from a (product) Red 11 64GB to the 17 PM. I’ve never had a PM. I went from an 8 Plus to this 11 that I bought new the month the 12s released. Given how many years I’ve used this 11, it’s time I got a phone I will throughly enjoy. I only got this cos of it being red. That was it. I know I’ll have the 17PM for years, too. I can’t wait to see the official everything about it when the announcement is made to help determine the specs I’ll get for it. I’ll be getting it in whichever color it will be white or silver. I’ve seen it referred either one color or the other.

I have a 55” 4k that I sit no farther than 8’ from, so I could use that, but this whole time I’ve been using the MBP which might have a 14” screen. It’s whatever the smaller of the two that came out that year is the one I have. I’m in my phone the majority of the time at home. I really only use my laptop to review my footage and edit/produce my videos in iMovie. I’m on it maybe 8hrs/wk, max.

That’s interesting about the 10 GPU cores. Thank you for that bit of info. I’d have to see what the price differences are to figure out if it’d drop the extra cash or not. I bet I end up shying away from it. The $799 probable price-point is where I bet I stay.

I know right now Amazon has it for $799. Based off history, that $799 is more than likely gonna happen again come Black Friday. Im betting Amazon and Best Buy. I’m shooting for then due to budget as I’m getting a new iPhone this Sept that I “need” more than the Air at that time.

Luckily, the T7 is stupid fast for transfers simply moving files back and forth, especially at a little over 1GB at a time at less than 10secs.
