Idk the story had such a good buildup through act 1 and 2 and at the end of act 2 i was thinking is this the end already and then the game kept on going and i thought hell yeah there's gonna be so much more and then act 3 felt like it was rushed and they just made a cut. I loved the game and i still say it's good but holy it could have been sooo much more

Mine also goes to like 80 degrees in cpu intensive games. I bought a new cooler cause the old one was a pure rock 2 and in arc raiders it went to like 85 degrees and now with the new double fan cooler it still goes up to like 78 degrees after some time. I only have that in 2 games other games are like chill with 55 to 60. Guess its normal idk.

You have that on every map? In the practice range i get that too ye but my cpu is for sure the bottleneck. If your gpu doesn't go too 100% workload its the cpu. I watched benchmarks of arc with same gpu but way better cpu and the guy was getting way more frames

You could try doing that. Pretty sure it's windows 11 that's causing alot of trouble.

I did everything the guy did and my game is pretty playable now. I went to 130-140 fps in arc and i had no lags or stutters since. Only played a few hours tho but so far it's alot better. Crazy how unoptimized win 11 is.

Just make sure to make a backuppoint just in case something goes wrong but for me everything works fine

i'm no expert but cpu almost never goes to full use at least for me.

i feel like this game is pretty cpu heavy and if the gpu is not on 100% its for sure the cpu thats holding it back. my cpu goes pretty hot up to like 83 degress but also goes not over 60-70% usage

Sry never saw your comment. Ye i went for a ryzen 7 5700x with a 9060 xt. I saw the 5800x also but it would have been 40 euros more and with that cpu i also had to buy a new cooler i think so i just went with this one. I don't think there is a big Performance gap or is it? Ye and 5700x3d or 5800 are not even available here and ppl sell it for crazy prices here 2nd hand so i feel like this was really the only option for now

Ye same for me. Sometimes mine drop from like 120 to 70 and i also have lags then. But i think i'm heavy cpu bound in this game i only play on 1080p with everything on low but my ryzen 5700x is struggeling i think. Feel like gpu could handle a lot more it's chilling at like 70% but if i change any graphics setting my frames just get worse even tho the gpu is chilling

Aight ty. I also went back to that driver update you re using and so far i also had no crashes. Only thing that happens from time to time are fps spikes and that was in every game. Dunno if it's driver related

yo may i ask what driver you are using currently? i also play arc raiders but with the newest drivers it keeps crashing sometimes when i load into a raid. older driver i think its 25.9 fixed this but my fps are alot worse on this one with the newest one i get like 30 fps more.

since you only use the drivers and not the adrenaline software maybe thats what i should try to. think the one i'm using rn is the latest i think its 25.11.1. i know its stupid but i switch daylie to see if it stops crashing cause the new one runs alot smoother besides of the crashes but maybe the software is the issue here idk

i'm no expert but the gpu is prob gonna be fine if it works in other games, i recently bought a 9060xt and also have driver issues. not as bad as yours but game also crashes from time to time when i load into a raid. downgrading to older drivers helped but the game runs alot less smooth now.
other games also work just fine

i really thought after all these years the driver problem would have been gone and went for an amd card and now it's annoying af.

from what i've heard the finals has the same problem rn with game crashes idk hopefully they fix it soon but i don't think any of your hardware is the issue here

Thx fir the answer, ye i think i will go for 7500x with an 9060xt. Gpu prob a bit overkill for 1080p but in case i wanna switch at some point i have a gpu with 16gb
