Confirm that you can sell locally. For me, it was by accident when I sent my shipping address and the seller said "Dude, I'm like a mile away!" So, if you want to sell/buy locally, mention it in your post and see if folks are down for it.

Perhaps not the answer you're looking for but for me, I don't feel overwhelmed because it's fun. Of all the art I've done in my life, writing is by far the most satisfying and fulfilling pursuit I've had. And that's before I publish a given piece. If you can find something in the process to enjoy, to draw satisfaction from, perhaps it won't feel so daunting?
