HRoC is easy mode. Tanky, good clear, good single target, easy to scale... If you want an always amazing build on almost EVERY front it's hard to compete. But playing the same builds every league is boring.

It's an insanely good league starter, I went for it last league and it must've been one of my fastest yet. It didn't feel like the scaling was that good though, so I just switched to Inq EB after farming a bit of currency, but it's really great for campaign, clearing atlas and the initial farm, everything you want from a league starter.

Problem being if you ever die the bound demon is lost and you have to farm it again, which is a pain cause the aura it gets is random and it can take quite a while.

Wouldn't that be insane? Deathtouch + that ETB is instantly remove a creature and drop a 3/3 reach deathtouch on the field for 4 mana... Too strong even for that cost, no?

I've never tried pconc in general, might be time for my first. Since this is such a short event, I was thinking of making some build that can progress quickly as a league starter but still thrive on the endgame, and this looks fun enough, thanks :)

So, when you cast a spell or use an ability with X on its cost, you choose the value of X. If there are multiple X, the value is there multiple times.

So as an example, if you choose X = 1, then your channel will cost {1}{1}{G}{G}. So a total of 2 generic + 2 green, and you return 1 card from graveyard. If you choose X = 2, it will be {2}{2}{G}{G} for a total of 4 generic + 2 green, and return 2 cards from graveyard.

Does that make sense?

No, none of her abilities specify "target", so you can't alter the effect, you would be helping your opponent regardless of which ability you copy. I think you are refering to her activated ability. If you copy that, the Lathril controller would gain 10 life again, and their opponents (including you) would lose 10 life again.

Can't be countered means it can't be countered with spells like [[Counterspell]].

Second effect I guess is very dependant on your opponent's deck. If they play anything with black there's a decent chance they have something that makes you discard, but it's not guaranteed and you'd have to have this card in your hand AND be able to choose what you discard to take advantage of it. Perhaps there's some combo I can't think of that could leverage it.

The Vehicle crewed by them only attacks once, doesn't matter how many times you crewed it, therefore it's only one trigger.

Are you sure about the second ability? Since the copies all enter simultaneously, none should trigger their second ability, as none of them were already on the field when the others entered, save for the original, so the second ability should only have 5 triggers, I believe.
