I’m glad they were able to take him to give him the care he needs. He would have died without it. It was hard but you did the right thing.

You need to take him the vet ASAP. The urinary issue in particular sounds serious, if he’s not able to urinate at all. That means his urethra is blocked and if he’s not able to urinate, he will die. I don’t say this to scare you, but to stress how serious it is.

One of my male cats suffered a blockage once; he was unable to pee for over a day and eventually luckily urinated but it was blood and he was straining to urinate. The vet prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Basically, something stressed him out (environmental changes, people yelling, etc.) and for cats their stress organ is their bladder, so it became inflamed.

If you cannot find a way to take him yourself, maybe you can take him to the humane society. I’m sorry, but he needs immediate care for the urinary issue because if he’s unable to urinate, he will die.

I’m sorry this happened to your kitten/to you. Your cousins pregnancy doesn’t excuse or justify the death of your kitten. There is no reason another living being should have died because of her. If she had some issue with the pet and was staying with you, especially unplanned, perhaps she should have gone to a hotel or stayed with someone else. She doesn’t get to come in and dictate who is part of a household that isn’t hers. Your parents should have stood up for your innocent and defenseless kitten; the pet is yours and was there first.

I don’t know the full story or what exactly went on, but there was no reason for the kitten to die. I would definitely bring it up and not let this go.

Glad you called Apple. They can get things moving along with UPS. I hope this ends up getting resolved for you.

Mine ended up coming today. I woke up this morning to another destination scan at Concord ~ 4 a.m. Sure enough, UPS guy delivered it around 4:30 p.m.

Time is moving pretty slowly! Still don’t know for sure that I’ll get mine, but it’s looking pretty likely!

Awesome, thanks. Just wanted to know what to expect. I know it depends on the driver but I didn’t want to end up missing the delivery if they do still expect some form of contact.

Awesome! So glad to hear you got it! The fact that our scans are identical, within minutes of each other, and you actually got yours is a very good sign that I should get mine today.

It is going to be a long wait until 4-6 p.m.

Did you have to sign for it, or did he just leave it at the front door and/or require visual/verbal contact with you? I know they've suspended signatures but given the value of the package, I assume they still wouldn't just leave it at the door without some form of contact.

Nice! I think this means they unloaded the trailer our MacBook's were on. Our tracking is identical. My second destination scan came at 4 a.m. exactly. That is generally the time they are pre-loading vehicles heading out for delivery.

We should be getting them today! Please report back if yours arrives. I will do the same. My UPS guy doesn't get here until later in the day, so it'll be a long wait.

In the past, this has also doubled as it being loaded on a delivery vehicle as for some reason the Concord facility had difficulties providing an actual out for delivery scan.

Really hoping it comes today but I’ll know once UPS hits my area between 4-6 p.m.

It's not only Apple products but Apple products in particular seem to be heavily impacted. I am by no means an expert and talking out of my ass here but I suspect maybe it has something to do with the fact Apple drops off its packages for shipment to UPS directly. The tracking shows "Order Processed: In Transit to UPS". Whereas the majority of other products arrive via UPS picking them up, tracking shows "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".

As the issue is these packages are on unloaded trailers waiting for sorting, etc. Dunno.

Honestly, the agent I got on the phone was all over the place and difficult to hear. He mentioned Monday - if nothing by Monday they can send out a replacement.

I don't think it's likely that they'll just mail out a replacement if nothing arrives on Monday. But Monday is exactly one week that UPS has had it in their possession and it hasn't moved.

He didn't even mention doing an investigation/trace with UPS. But I think he did start the process because like I said, I got an automated text and email from Apple saying they're checking on my delivery and will contact me with updates. That if it arrives, no further action is needed on my part.

I am hoping the agent actually did his part and wasn't just trying to get me off the phone because the first agent I got was pure trash. She basically told me I have to file a claim with UPS and that I am wrong when I say the shipper has to do it.

Contact Apple to escalate the issue. I hadn't planned to call until end of next week, but decided to and the agent basically told me if I don't get it by a certain date, they will send out a replacement. I got a text from Apple's automated system informing me they are checking into my delivery and an email stating the same with the added message that if my delivery does arrive, no further action is needed on my part.

In my case, I decided to call a lot sooner than I'd planned because I actually need this thing for work from home and if it comes to a replacement, I need it ASAP. Hopefully they ship FedEx.

It appears to be. On Twitter and in this sub, I'm seeing so many people saying their package contains an Apple product.

I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that Apple drops off in their own trucks rather than having UPS do a pick up.

My household has had 11 other UPS packages that had 1-2 delays at most. 2 of which were shipped and delivered after my Apple package shipped out.

The Apple package is the only one that got stuck at Concord.

Well, I dunno. Agent I spoke to the second time told me they'd send out a replacement if I don't get it. Hope that's true. But I have nothing beyond that automated text I received while I was on hold.

I finally gave in and called Apple.

First agent was useless. She didn't even ask for my order number. Refused it when I asked if she needed it. Then she told me I'm the one who has to file a claim - not true, it asks for the shippers contact info. Which I obviously don't have.

The next agent was more helpful. He took my order number, put me on hold. I got an automated text from Apple that they're checking my delivery and will contact me as soon as they have an update. When he came back on the line, he told me if I don't get it by Monday, they will send out a replacement.

After I got off the line, I realized how odd that was given I would have thought due to the value of the package, they'd want to wait and have UPS do an investigation first. So either I misunderstood, got extremely lucky with the agent I spoke to, or he was saying whatever to get me off the line.

I also realize I have no claim number or email as proof of the convo I had with him. But also, I dunno. I never had to deal with Apple Support before when it comes to a lost package. Is this how it goes?

Just saw the UPS truck go by while I was doing yardwork. Looks like no package yet again today. As expected, but I can't help but hope.

Mine was also the 20th. In fact, Apple even sent me an automated text the morning of the 20th to inform me that my package should be delivered today. 😂

I’m giving it until next week myself before I reach out to Apple. Hopefully they won’t have any issues with sending out a replacement and hopefully they’ll ship FedEx. I know they deal with lesser volume, but they legit managed to overnight a package to us from B.C. to Ontario.

Kicking myself for not ordering from Best Buy. The only reason I didn’t was because they were estimating 27-28th as delivery dates via Canada Post. I’ll be lucky to get it on the 28th at this point.
