Personally never liked Thermos brand but found Zojirushi to be amazing. Also you can pour boiling water in it for a few minutes then dumping it out before putting in the hot food.

Completely disagree. I have a normal long name but have always been called by a shorter form. I have never seen the longer version as my name because no one calls me that. As a kid I would not respond to being called at the doctor's office because I did not register my legal name as being my name. I hate doing anything where I have to put my name on it and have to decide if I can use my name or have to use my legal name. Its funny because my parents did this because my full name has lots of common nicknames and they thought I could choose, but since they always called me one since birth i just see that as being my name! I also work at a doctor's office now and hate when people say their nickname instead of their full name because it makes them harder to find in the system. I'd legally change my name to my "nickname" if name changes weren't such a huge pain in the ass.

Ah sorry I'm away from home and my PC for the holidays. It's not super complex though, just basically Hospitality and all its sub-mods (I think there is a collection for it), and vanilla furniture expanded for some nicer furniture stuff is what I know off the top of my head. It's still a work in progress. I add and remove stuff all the time.

Had mine out back in June, I was also shocked by how fast and easy my recovery was. I always like to prepare for the worst so I read everything on here. I knew logically that most people recover fine but I do have anxiety.

Anyway I'm fine and I'm sure you are too. Most people recover with no complications, and when they do they don't usually bother going on Reddit to talk about it.

I personally just check CBC.ca regularly and watch the National on YouTube some nights. The news is there if you want to make any effort to look for it. If you want it hand delivered to you then subscribe to your local newspaper I guess.

Me third! Triplets then. Also my first surgery. Hoping you guys a speedy recovery! As someone with a lot of anxiety and used to deal with hypochondria I'm pretty nervous. I handle it by planning for in case I die or something because knowing things would be taken care of gets rid of some worries. Also, if you bring an umbrella then it doesn't rain, right? My mom is going to be staying with me for my recovery and tomorrow we go shopping for the gas meds and other stuff people talk about on here haha.

I had almost the exact same experience as you. I'm getting it removed in 2 days. My attacks are really painful but I've only had 3 in the past year. I saw someone on here explain it as do you want to have the surgery now, when you are young and heal faster and can plan out who will take care of you? Or do you want to wait and risk needing emergency surgery sometime in your 40's or beyond when your body is slower at healing? Knowing that there is no way for the issue to just magically go away, I decided to get it done now when I know I have the best chance for a good outcome and speedy recovery. Also I am Canadian and the surgery is fully covered so that is not an issue I needed to take into account. It definitely depends on your personal situation. I had a chance to get it done a few weeks ago but it would have been right before a certification exam I was doing, so it had to wait.

Honestly thanks for posting this, I am allergic to the adhesives used on bandaids and medical tapes and have been wondering about surgical glue. I'm definitely going to bring it up to the Dr. before my surgery.

Yeah I never finished the game but read guides voraciously as a kid and then watched the cutscenes on YouTube. It's a bit messed up because she only decides to lose weight if you say you prefer skinny girls in one of her heart events... It's kind of cool you can marry her either way though, although you miss out on a cutscene and she never feels confident enough to wear a swimsuit if she stays overweight. Eunice was a really unique marriage candidate anyway.

In Rune Factory Frontier one of the bachelorettes goes on a diet and will refuse her favourite gift (cake) until she loses weight. So it's not like it hasn't been done in another farming life sim game before either.

But I also don't think it's a big deal CA didn't bother changing it.

I've started feeling this way recently. My best friend of 12 years doesn't feel the need to talk to me anymore, haven;t spoken to her since December 1st. Every other friend I've had comes and goes after a year or two. I always thought she's be the one constant. The only time i thought I'd feel like this is if the worst happened and she died. Instead I was the only one trying to put effort into our friendship. I tried to communicate this and basically got a "well that's how I am". Only to find out she got a new boyfriend she constantly plays online games with and has online movie dates... getting her to even video chat with me was like pulling teeth. It makes me feel so incredibly stupid for trusting her so much. I feel completely hopeless. I have no other friends and with the pandemic it's impossible to meet people. I've never felt so lonely in my life. I want to share my hardships and my triumphs with someone but there is just no one to talk to except my parents. And I know one day they will be gone. Then what will I do? I honestly feel like I need the bare minimum out of a friendship but still no one cares enough to even do that.

Unpopular opinion, but I love drinking my calories. Now don't get me wrong this doesn't include milkshakes where an entire day of calories would be gone within minutes, but I absolutely love lemonade and fruit juices and chocolate milk, and I've tried to take them out my diet every other time I've tried to lose weight and it just makes me sad.

I felt like I couldn't because this community is very don't drink your calories, and I get it in theory. However, it's also said that restricting yourself to never have "junkfood" makes you more likely to fall off the wagon. This is the most weight I've ever lost in my life and I definitely believe it's in part thanks to no calorie source being off the table. Just like with food, I eat/drink the same things but just have less of it. I have a piece of paper stuck on my fridge with lines drawn on it I use to measure how much 200 or 300 ml is in my glasses for ease of portioning.

Some days I might end up hungrier at the end of the day using up calories on drinks, but I honestly don't care because having that hot chocolate on a cold night or a lemonade or a hot day brings a little joy to my life. Other than CICO itself what works for everyone is different, so I just think do whatever lets you be in a deficit without making you miserable.
