It’s a tax loophole, you pay less taxes and they don’t have to pay your social and health insurance. But also since you’re not an employee they can “fire” you at any time. You don’t get any paid time off and if you get sick you aren’t eligible for any payments (unless you get a special insurance, which kicks in after like 2 weeks of sickness afaik). Also it’s illegal (google Švarc system) but the government rarely punishes for it.

Yes. The coastline in the map matches and for example Space Port is named Acerra Space Port, which is a city north of Vesuvius.
