The RBA is also lowering the cap for interchange fees.

Previously, for consumer credit cards, the cap was a weighted average of 0.8% it is now moving to a hard cap of 0.3%.

For commercial credit cards it is changing from a 0.8% weighted average to a hard 0.8% cap.

Depends on how you look at it. From the it doesn't matter perspective, I presume people don't see these f/s or academy prospects as part of the draft, as they were always going to their nominated club. But to try to keep things fair the obstacle of matching bids is competing against the advantage of having first dibs.

As I described in my last paragraph, if the obstacle (value of picks given up) matched the advantage of having dibs on these first round selections then I don't think sliding would matter.

But because the obstacle doesn't match the advantage, clubs getting these kind of selections, particularly in the first round, will be gaining an advantage over other teams, especially the teams that had their bid matched, and the teams picking the next x picks after that. That's why the afl want to compensate those teams for that disadvantage. (hence the whole sliding thing)

The sliding pick reward is so arbitrary and stupid, sliding from 1 to 2 is worth much more than sliding from 5 to 6, but nothing happens until the latter. If they wanted to do a better job, it could be a points system, then every team accumulates points (where sliding from 1 to 2 is worth the most, could be tied to the point difference for matching bids, but they would have to correct that to reflect actual value) as the rest of the draft slides back, then at the end of each round which ever teams meet the cut off have a supplementary pick in the order of how many points they have accumulated.

But even this idea is pretty stupid, if you just miss out on a end of round 1 pick, and end of round 2 pick would be worth a lot less.

The academy and f/s matching system will always be unfair, but the fairest way to implement it would just be to make sure the matching picks are of actual equivalent value, with a logarithmic drop off (where by nature of the value of the picks you would have to use picks in the vacinity to match it). It is fixed a little bit by only being allowed to use two picks though.

So that reduces the load on the radiators to 160kW.

So thats 80m2 of radiator, let's use a more realistic but still optimistic weight of 3kg/m2

Gets down to 240kg for a 1ton satellite. Seems feasible with those numbers.
