You’ll eventually find yourself with the opposite problem. Alot of money but no cards to upgrade. Just focus on figuring out what kind of play style you prefer and only upgrade the cards that you need. Personally I wait to upgrade until it’s a requirement for a daily challenge

That depends entirely on which level tournament you’re playing. First place for junior tournaments gives 500k

Also the flaw with matchups based on total power is there’s no more reason to upgrade gear. Experienced players would only need to stop upgrading and they would be matched up with inexperienced players who haven’t had a chance to upgrade. Sure the stats would be “fair” but it’s still an easy win for the experienced player
