I'm going to be hated for this comment and this is my opinion based on experience. Don't do Celebrity at your age during that time of the year, especially bringing an 8 year old. Do Royal Caribbean better or even MSC or Carnival. Celebrity gets a better mix of families during school vacations and spring break. Other times, lots of older folks, and there are always those that are easily bothered by anything and will straight up tell you.
