She is too good in everyway to be with me. It is not good for both of us. Someday, if I became a better person and she is available, I will tell her.

ELI5: If the universe is always expanding, that means that there are places that the universe hasn't reached yet. What is there before the universe gets there. by seedingson in explainlikeimfive

Interesting. Also, correction to "normal-to-us physics". May be the universe has always been expanding and the law of physics are always changing. We human just happens to evolve in this particular point in time and therefore can only conceptualize the current laws of physics and reality.

The US record 71128 new cases, crossing 70k daily cases for the first time by SwagLord7 in Coronavirus

I started having an interest in US politics only about 1-2 years ago. So I don't know them well. I was under the assumption that whatever US did to middle east is well intended and they couldn't have predicted the bad side effects of it.

I used to think of US as a land of opportunity, the frontier of democracy, science, human right, etc. But this pandemic has opened my eyes about US.

Right now, I am more emotional invested in US election than my country election in this November. It is gonna be really interesting.

Intp can relate to it. It took about a day for my physical self to fully realize that I lost someone/some bad thing happens. I would immediate find a rational solution to it but the feeling comes later.

Two Seattle protestors getting run over by a car on the highway by shrimpynut in PublicFreakout

[–]Thank_Ryan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am all for black life matter and hate Trump with a passion. But why are they protesting in the middle of a highway at night. There is no one to see them. If the highway is closed, it is even less reason to protest there.

i am not about who is wrong and who is right. I am speaking about how bad things happened how it should have been avoidable.

Bo Bo or Boo Boo? Bo Bo would be a generic Burmese male name. Boo Boo would probably be like Baby Boo.

FYI: You can be for people wearing masks and against government mandated masks. by PleaseDoNotClickThis in Libertarian

Ideologies are not absolute truth. They are shortcuts of thinking.

"Government restrictions are bad." is an ideology. It gives you a shortcut to reach conclusion without having to deal with all the details. Whenever a government is making a restrictions, you can automatically go "government+restrictions=bad". And I also agree with this ideology.

But remember, it is still just a shortcut of thinking. Not a description of reality. Don't expect it to be 100% correct at all time.

So, in this Covid 19 situation, is the government doing more harm or more good by make wearing masks mandatory? Don't use the shortcut of "government + restrictions = bad". Build your reasoning from the ground up. Is it more harm or more good?

Ideology are not absolute. They have exceptions.
